| ObjectiveTo investigate the value of MRI in the diagnosis of cervical cancer II a after ultrasonic gel vagina filling.MethodsA total of 158 patients with cervical cancer who underwent MRI examination after cervical biopsy were prospectively enrolled.Routine MRI examination was performed first, followed by a MRI examination after filling the vagina with ultrasound gel.Two doctors used double-blind method to perform MRI staging of cervical cancer in two groups. The positive predictive value and negative predictive value of the same patient in the two examinations for stage IIa cases were compared, and the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy in judging the cervical cancer stage IIa were compared. Results[The positive predictive value and negative predictive value]Two doctors used the double blind method to staging the conventional MRI images, the consistency was generally(x=0.680),and the MRI images were staging with ultrasonic gel filling, the results were very good(x=0.932).Conventional MRI images in the diagnosis of cervical cancer II a The positive predictive value of a phase was 66.67%,the negative predictive value was 76.74%,sensitivity,specificity and accuracy were70.59%,73.33%and 72.15%respectively;the positive predictive value of MRI was 90.91%and the negative predictive value was 91.3%after ultrasonic gelling;the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were 88.24%,93.33%and 91.14%,respectively,and their sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were all compared. There was statistical significance(x2=6.46,p<0.05;x2=17.99,p<0.01;x2=19.00,p<0.01).ConclusionMRI examination after ultrasonic gel vagina filling has higher sensitivity, specificity and accuracy in judging the II a stage of cervical cancer. The method is simple and feasible, and can be used in routine MRI examination of cervical cancer. |
