| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture based on the theory of brain-gut axis in the treatment of patients with mild to moderate depression with gastrointestinal symptoms. Methods:In this project,a total of 60 patients with mild to moderate depression and gastrointestinal symptoms who meet the inclusion criteria were selected, and they were included in the study after informed consent. They were divided into treatment group and control group, with 30 people in each group.Acupuncture prescription:the control group selected acupoints Baihui,Yintang,Shenmen(double),Taichong(double),Neiguan(double),Tanzhong, and the treatment group added Zusanli(double)to the acupoints of the control group,Tianshu(double),Zhongwan, and eight abdominal areas.Acupuncture method:When acupuncture in the eight areas of the abdomen, directly puncture the four acupoints 0.5-1.0 cun without twisting.Routine acupuncture at the remaining acupoints, keeping the needle for 30 minutes after getting qi,once a day, acupuncture for 6 consecutive days and rest for 1 day.The 7th is a course of treatment for a total of 4 weeks. Before and after treatment, the patients were evaluated on the TCM Syndrome Scale,Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD-24)and TCM Syndrome Scores for Gastrointestinal Diseases.Result:1.Comparability analysis of baseline data:Before treatment, the gender, age, and course of disease of the control group and the treatment group were not statistically significant(P>0.05),and the two groups were comparable.2.Comparison of TCM syndrome scores:Before treatment, there was no significant difference in TCM syndrome scores between the two groups of subjects(P>0.05),and the two groups were comparable;the scores of TCM syndromes before and after treatment were both comparable within the group. It was statistically significant(P<0.05);after treatment, the scores of TCM syndromes in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison of TCM syndrome scores of gastrointestinal diseases:Before treatment, the comparison of TCM syndrome scores of gastrointestinal diseases between the two groups of subjects was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and the two groups were comparable;the two groups were comparable before and after treatment. The scores of TCM syndromes of diseases were statistically significant within the group(P<0.05);after treatment, the scores of TCM syndromes of gastrointestinal diseases in the treatment group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Comparison of HAMD-24 scale scores:Before treatment, there was no significant difference in HAMD-24 scale scores between the two groups of subjects(P>0.05),the two groups were comparable;the two groups of patients were HAMD-24 before and after treatment The scale scores were statistically significant within the group(P<0.05);after treatment, the HAMD-24 scale scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Comparison of HAMD-24 item scores in the HAMD-24 scale:Comparison of HAMD-24 single item scores between the two groups of subjects before the intervention and 4 weeks after the intervention, both P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant;the two groups were in depression, depression, and depression after treatment. The seven aspects of difficulty falling asleep, mental anxiety, physical anxiety, gastrointestinal symptoms, and systemic symptoms were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the number of treatment components was lower than that of the control group; There was no statistically significant difference in the three aspects of weight loss(P>0.05).6.Total effective rate:The total effective rate of the treatment group is 90%,and the control group is 80%.The treatment group is better than the control group. The difference in total effective rate between the two groups is statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Acupuncture based on the theory of brain-gut axis can improve the depressive symptoms and gastrointestinal discomfort symptoms of patients with mild to moderate depression, and the clinical effect is significant.2.Acupuncture based on the theory of brain-gut axis is better than the control group in improving the depressive symptoms and gastrointestinal discomfort symptoms of patients with mild to moderate depression. |
