Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Idiopathic Asthenospermia(Kidney Deficiency And Blood Stasis Type) By Huoxue Shizi Decoction

Objective:This research aimed to explore the clinical effect of Huoxue Shizi Decoction in the treatment of idiopathic asthenospermia(kidney deficiency and blood stasis type).Methods:A total of 70 cases with idiopathic asthenospermia(kidney deficiency and blood stasis type)who were admitted by andrology department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine from April 2020 to January 2021,and according to the order of the patients,they were divided into two groups by random number method,with 35 patients in each group.The treatment group was treated with the Huoxue Shizi Decoction.The control group was treated with L-carnitine oral solution.The total treatment course was 12 weeks.At 0,6 and 12 weeks after treatment,TCM syndrome score and semen analysis index data were observed and collected in detail,and the relevant data were imported into SPSS26.0 for statistical analysis.Result:1.The treatment group and the control group were compared in terms of age distribution,disease course time,semen parameters,and TCM syndrome scores.There was no statistical difference and they were comparable.2.Comparing the two groups of patients before and after treatment,the percentage of A-grade sperm,the percentage of A+B-grade sperm,and the TCM syndrome score all improved in different ranges with statistical significance(P<0.05).In addition,the sperm density in the treatment group was higher than before treatment with statistical significance(P<0.05).The semen volume of the treatment group,the semen volume of the control group,and the sperm density of the control group were not significantly different than before and after treatment(P>0.05).3.Comparison between the two groups of patients after treatment,the improvement on sperm motility(percentage of grade A sperm,percentage of grade A+B sperm)and TCM syndrome scores of the treatment group were better than those of the control group with statistical significance(P<0.05),the semen volume and sperm density of the treatment group were not significantly different from those of the control group(P>0.05).4.After 12 weeks of treatment,treatment group total effective rate of86.68% was higher than the control group of 77% in the same period with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both Levocarnitine and Huoxue Shizi Decoction could significantly enhance the proportion of grade A,A+B sperm with idiopathic asthenospermia(kidney deficiency and blood stasis type)patients,and reduce the TCM syndrome score.2.Huoxue Shizi Decoction in the treatment of idiopathic asthenospermia(kidney deficiency and blood stasis type)is better than levocarnitine in improving sperm motility and reducing TCM syndrome scores.
