| Male infertility(MI)refers to male's inability to cause pregnancy in fertile female in case that husband and wife had a regular sexual life ?1 and did not take any contraceptive measures.In this paper,we choose the patients with the TCM syndrome of kidney deficiency and damp heat type,and use the western medicine treatment and clinical research,and discuss the traditional Chinese medicine treatment of patients with kidney deficiency and liver depression.Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine Xiyuan Hospital Andrology department used Bushentiaoganshengjingtang to treat idiopathic asthenospermia with the kidney deficiency and liver depression type,and the clinical application has achieved good results,however,its effectiveness needs to be further confirmed.In this paper,we use randomized and control design methods,use levocarnitine oral liquid as control drug,and observe the validity of Bushentiaoganshengjingtang to treat idiopathic asthenospermia with the kidney deficiency and liver depression type.This subject is reviewed by Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine Xiyuan Hospital medical ethics committee(This document No.2016XLA120-2).Objective:we observe the validity of Bushentiaoganshengjingtang to treat idiopathic asthenospermia with the kidney deficiency and liver depression type.Method:in this paper,66 patients are suffered from idiopathic asthenospermia who treated in Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine Xiyuan Hospital Andrology department from Aug.2016 to Jan.2015 and their illness are accorded with kidney deficiency and liver depression type,and they signed informed consents and their age from 23 to 40,average age is 32.63 ±3.98,we used SPSS11 software to calculate sample data.Experimental group:control group=1:1.In this research,all patients were divided into two groups,experimental group patients took Bushentiaoganshengjingtang(provided by Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine Xiyuan Hospital granular pharmacy)and control group patients took levocarnitine oral liquid(Northeast pharmaceutical group Shenyang first pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.,approval number:Chinese medicine 3H9971092).Each group has 33 patients.The course of treatment lasted for 1 month,after treatment for 1 month,patients took semen routine examination and they took medicines for 3 months,and they were followed up for 1 month.As the same time,we filled in semen routine parameters,TCM symptom grading scale laboratory examination,and recorded adverse reactions or not.After the course of treatment,patients were followed up by telephone to find out whether they are pregnant,and we collected experimental data for statistical analysis.Results:1.Baseline data:for ages,Chinese medicine group has 33 patients,their average age is 32.63 ±3.98,9 patients from 23 to 30,12 patients from 30 to 35,12 patients from 35 to 40.Average course of disease is 19.03 ± 5.95 months.Control group has 33 patients,their average age is 32.81 ±4.11,11 patients from 23 to 30,14 patients from 30 to 35,8 patients from 35 to 40.Average course of disease is 16.84 ± 3.05 months.2.Comparison in group:for two group patients,there was no statistically significant improvement in semen analysis of PR grade semen(P>0.05)after treatment for 4 weeks.However,there was statistically difference after treatment for 8 and 12 weeks compared with before treatment in improvement of PR grade semen(P<0.05).Meanwhile,there was no statistically significant improvement in sperm activity rate of 1 hour of(PR+NP)grade semen(P>0.05)after treatment for 4 weeks.However,there was statistically difference after treatment for 8 and 12 weeks compared with before treatment in improvement of sperm activity rate of 1 hour of(PR+NP)grade semen(P<0.05).3.Comparison among groups:compared these two groups patients,there was no statistically significant improvement in PR grade semen of patients(P>0.05)after treatment for 8 weeks,but there was statistically significant improvement in PR grade semen of patients(P<0.05)after treatment for 12 weeks,and the Chinese medicine group has the better effect.And there was no statistically significant improvement in sperm activity rate of 1 hour of(PR+NP)grade semen(P>0.05)after treatment for 4 and 8 weeks,but there was statistically significant improvement perm activity rate of 1 hour of(PR+NP)grade semen(P<0.05)after treatment for 12 weeks,and the Chinese medicine group has the better effect.4.Safety:In the treatment,2 patients in Chinese medicine group had exhibited symptoms of anorexia and mild nausea,may be related to the excessive amount of Shudi.One patient in control group had exhibited symptoms of more sweating,and patients with mild symptoms were still able to tolerate and did not withdraw from the trial.There were no obvious side effects in these two groups.There were no abnormality in blood routine,liver function(ALT,AST),renal function(BUN,CR),urine routine and ECG for these patients before and after the treatment.5.Sample shedding:One patient in treatment group was excluded after a course of treatment because of loss to follow up.One patient had arthritis pauperum attack and were treated with hormones and anti-inflammatory drugs in this treatment,so he was excluded because of influence of results of this study.3 patients in control group were excluded because they did not follow the doctor's advice and not take medicine regularly.Results:The values of PR and PR+NP are increased in both the Chinese medicine group and the control group,but the range of Chinese medicine group is higher than that of the control group,and for the ameliorating symptoms of patients,the Chinese medicine group shows the better advantage than control group.It shows that the prescription of Bushentiaoganshengj ingtang is reasonable,in the treatment of idiopathic asthenospermia with the kidney deficiency and liver depression type,the Chinese medicine has a better effect than levocamitine oral liquid,and the curative effect is worthy of clinical application. |
