| Objective:To provide evidence-based medical evidence for clinical trials and treatment of Herpes Zoster,a systematic review of the clinical randomized controlled trial of acupuncture combined with blood-letting puncture and cupping for the treatment of Herpes Zoster was conducted using evidence-based medicine.Method:According to the characteristics of each database,the corresponding retrieval strategy was made,and literature retrieval was carried out on both Chinese and English databases.The search time was limited to 31 December2020.According to the pre-made inclusion and exclusion criteria,the literature was screened and the data were extracted.According to the criteria of bias risk provided by Cochrane Collaboration Network,the quality of the literature was evaluated.The Review Manager 5.3 software was used to make meta-analysis of literature data which was included the main outcome measures included effectiveness and cure rate,the secondary outcome measures included visual analogue scale(VAS),incidence rate of postherpetic neuralgia,time it takes for herpes to scab,and time for pain relief,and use GRADE pro software to grade the quality of each indicator.Results:1 Results of literature reviewA total of 48 papers were selected and included in this study.Papers were published between 2005 to 2020,except for one English paper,all other paperwere published in Chinese.A total of 3641 patients were enrolled,including1840 in the observation group,1801 in the control group,1783 men and 1657 women.After the bias risk evaluation,we can know that the literature methodology included in this study is not strict,there is a certain bias risk.The control measures were divided into 2 groups: Acupuncture+Blood-letting puncture and cupping VS Acupuncture;Acupuncture +Blood-letting puncture and cupping VS Medicine.2 Results of Meta-analysis2.1 Effective rateAcupuncture + Blood-letting puncture and cupping VS Acupuncture:RR=1.19,95%CI[1.12,1.26];Acupuncture + Blood-letting puncture and cupping VS Medicine:RR=1.22,95%CI[1.19,1.26]。2.2 Cure rateAcupuncture + Blood-letting puncture and cupping VS Acupuncture:RR=1.65,95%CI[1.40,1.96];Acupuncture + Blood-letting puncture and cupping VS Medicine:RR=1.95,95%CI[1.77,2.15]。2.3 Visual analogue scoreAcupuncture + Blood-letting puncture and cupping VS Acupuncture:MD=-2.18,95%CI[-2.82,-1.53];Acupuncture + Blood-letting puncture and cupping VS Medicine:MD=-4.82,95%CI[-7.07,-2.58]。2.4 Incidence rate of postherpetic neuralgiaAcupuncture + Blood-letting puncture and cupping VS Acupuncture:RR=0.23,95%CI[0.10,0.52];Acupuncture + Blood-letting puncture and cupping VS Medicine:RR=0.26,95%CI[0.17,0.40]。2.5 Herpes scabbing timeAcupuncture + Blood-letting puncture and cupping VS Acupuncture:MD=-2.24,95%CI[-2.59,-1.88];Acupuncture + Blood-letting puncture and cupping VS Medicine:MD=-1.92,95%CI[-2.52,-1.31]。2.6 Time for pain reliefAcupuncture + Blood-letting puncture and cupping VS Acupuncture:MD=-3.05,95%CI[-3.33,-2.77];Acupuncture + Blood-letting puncture and cupping VS Medicine:MD=-4.08,95%CI[-5.49,-2.67]。3 Quality of evidenceThere were 12 evidence quality evaluations in 2 groups,including 5intermediate,4 low,3 extremely low,and the overall quality of evidence was low.Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with blood-letting puncture and cupping can improve the effective rate and cure rate of herpes zoster,reduce the incidence rate of postherpetic neuralgia,shorten the time it takes for herpes to scab and for pain relief. |
