Objective: To compare the short-term efficacy,dose distribution and toxic side effects of endoluminal combined with intertissue implantation in massive cervical cancer(tumor diameter ≥4cm)compared with endoluminal therapy alone.Methods: A total of 124 patients with lumen cervical cancer who received concurrent chemoradiotherapy for the first time in our hospital were selected and treated with either simple intracavitary therapy(IC BT group,n=63)or combined intracavitary intertissue transplantation(IC /IS BT group,n=61).(IS BT:interstitial brachytherapy,IC BT:intracavitary brachytherapy)CT scan and target area delineation were performed to compare the differences in short-term effective rate,dosimetry and major toxic and side effects between IC BT group and IC/IS BT group.Results: The short-term effective rate of IC/IS BT group was significantly higher than that of IC BT group,the difference was statistically significant(p < 0.05).Under the same prescription dose,HR-CTV(high-risk clinical target volume)D90 and D100 of IC/IS BT group were higher than those of IC group,the difference was statistically significant(p < 0.05);rectal D2 CC,D1CC and D0.1CC of IC/IS BT group were lower than those of IC BT group,the difference was statistically significant(p <0.05).The bladder D2 CC,D1cc and D0.1cc of IC/IS BT group were higher than those of IC BT group,and the difference was not statistically significant p > 0.05).The incidence of cystitis and proctitis in IC/IS BT group was lower than that in IC BT group,and the difference was not statistically significant(p > 0.05).Conclusion:Compared with IC/IS BT in recent treatment efficiency,target area and dosimology of organs at risk,IC/IS BT has obvious advantages,and does not increase the incidence of radiation cystitis and radiation proctitis,which IS worth clinical promotion.
