| Objective:Investigate and analyze the current status of medical students’humanistic care ability and its influencing factors in a comprehensive university in Xinjiang,analyze the humanities curriculum setting of medical colleges,the importance of students to humanities courses and the satisfaction evaluation of medical humanities education,and explore the medical students’humanistic care ability and medicine The relationship between humanities education satisfaction.Provide a basis for optimizing the school medical humanities curriculum and improving the quality of humanities education.Methods:A cluster sampling method was adopted to survey 1487 medical students in a comprehensive university in Xinjiang using the general information questionnaire,the humanistic care ability scale,the humanities curriculum importance questionnaire,and the medical humanities education satisfaction questionnaire.Using the typical sampling method,using the questionnaire of the humanities curriculum of medical schools,the situation of the medical humanities curriculum is analyzed in a comprehensive university in Xinjiang and the undergraduate talent training program of three similar universities in China.SPSS 20.0performs statistical description,t test,rank sum test,one-way analysis of variance,multiple linear regression analysis and Spearman correlation analysis.Results:1.The total score of humanistic care ability of medical students in a comprehensive university in Xinjiang is(189.49±19.80),which is lower than the foreign norm standard(203.1-220.3)and lower than the domestic norm(191.04±19.49).The difference is statistically significant.Learn meaning.2.Multiple stepwise regression analysis shows that a total of 7 factors(grade,class leader,family’s care for you,teacher and classmates’care for you,number of social activities,professional love,and evaluation of your own humanistic literacy)enter the regression equation Y=223.426-0.211X9-0.134X6+0.127X7-0.139X2-0.122X10-0.086X5-0.078X4.3.The proportion of humanities course hours in a comprehensive university in Xinjiang to the total hours is(21.6%for clinical majors and 28.3%for nursing majors),which is slightly lower than the average level of similar institutions(22.4%for clinical medicine majors and28.6%for nursing majors).The proportion of stable in foreign countries is between 20-30%.The ratio of theory to practice in humanities courses is 1:0.27 for clinical medicine majors,1:0.32 for nursing majors,which is lower than the foreign average standard of 1:0.8~1,and lower than the domestic average standard of 1:0.48.4.The clinical medicine and nursing students of a comprehensive university in Xinjiang rated the importance of the humanities curriculum as(4.23±0.12)points and(4.26±0.10)points,which are between important and very important.The top three courses are mainly focused on psychology,ethics and communication,and the lower-ranked courses are sports.5.The overall satisfaction of medical students from a comprehensive university in Xinjiang with the school’s medical humanities education is(3.98±0.85)points,which is between average and satisfaction.Among them,the degree of satisfaction with the humanities education faculty of the school is high,and the degree of satisfaction with the arrangement of humanities courses is low.6.The total score of medical students’humanistic care ability is positively correlated with the total score of humanistic education satisfaction(r=0.335,P<0.01),and all dimensions are positively correlated with correlation coefficients(r=0.123~0.790,P<0.01).Conclusion:1.The score of humanistic care ability of medical students in a comprehensive university in Xinjiang is lower than the norm at home and abroad,and the cultivation of humanistic care ability of medical students needs to be further improved.2.Grade,class leader,family care,teacher and classmates’care,number of social activities,professional love,and evaluation of their own humanities are the main influencing factors of humanistic care ability.3.The proportion of total hours of humanities courses in a medical college of a comprehensive university in Xinjiang is more reasonable than the average at home and abroad.Medical students have a good understanding of the importance of the humanities curriculum and have a good satisfaction with the school’s humanities education.But the humanities curriculum is out of proportion between theory and practice.It is still necessary to further optimize the humanities curriculum structure and advance the reform of medical education.4.There is a positive correlation between the humanistic care ability of medical students in a comprehensive university in Xinjiang and the satisfaction of humanistic education. |
