The aging of China’s population is accelerating and healthy aging as a strategic measure to actively respond to population aging has received great attention from the country.Carrying out research on the indicator system of healthy aging and quantitatively evaluating the development of healthy aging across the country and in various regions has important practical significance for effectively promoting the realization of healthy aging.Firstly, the thesis sorted out the concept of healthy aging and related theories, and clarified the operational definition of healthy aging. After fully drawing on the opinions of experts and scholars in related fields, further determine the dimensions of the concept of healthy aging include: healthy aging status, including physical health, mental health, social health, and general health;healthy aging support, including elderly healthy behaviors, health services, social environment and elderly services, and preliminarily construct the measurement indicators for the concept of healthy aging.Based on the principles of science, sustainability, accessibility, comparability, sensitivity, and systemicity, the study drawed on the indicators related to healthy aging used in the planning of the Chinese government and the authoritative development indicator system at home and abroad, sorted out the macro-healthy aging-related service calculable indicators, and compared the micro-health-ageing-related special surveys with the calculable indicators.Principal component analysis and variance methods are further used to screen the optional indicators under each dimension. The improved Delphi method is used to obtain the index weight value, determine the calculation method of the healthy aging comprehensive index, and construct the healthy aging index system. The source of the micro data in the measure part is the “China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study(CHARLS)”.Through the sorting and cleaning of the questionnaire data, the corresponding indicator data values for 2015 and 2018 are obtained.Common methods of descriptive statistical analysis include frequency analysis, quartile analysis, coefficient of variation analysis, spatial autocorrelation analysis, and systematic clustering.Based on the healthy aging data in 2018,compared with the healthy aging data in 2015,the comprehensive index, element index structure, element index balance and regional distribution of the index of healthy aging are analyzed.Findings: nationally, the overall level of healthy aging in China is not high, and the overall level divided into status and support dimensions is not high, the national average level is low,but the status level is generally higher than the support level;by province, the level of healthy aging in various provinces differs greatly, and divided equally by the comprehensive index value, the number of provinces in the high index segment is the least, and the number of provinces in the low index segment is the most;balanced view, the balance of healthy aging development is poor, and there is a tendency to widen the difference, including the balance between regions and the development balance of the regional factor index;regional view, regional differences in the development of healthy aging are large, combining the division of east, middle and west, the difference in the level of healthy aging between east, middle and west has changed from insignificant to significant and there are certain regional “spillover” effects.Countermeasures and suggestions are put forward: coordinate the development of healthy aging and improve the overall level of healthy aging;identify “benchmark” provinces for healthy aging and strengthen experience sharing and exchanges;identify the shortcomings of healthy aging factors and balance the development of healthy aging;radiate to drive surrounding areas, focus on helping areas with poor healthy aging.
