Objective Detected the serum levels of cellular immunity and humoral immunity in peripheral blood of patients with recurrent aphthous ulcer(RAU),to analyze whether there was a correlation between the detection results and the clinical classification of ulcer, the size of ulcer area, age and gender..Methods Detected and recorded the serum levels of cellular immunity(CD3+,CD3+CD4+,CD3+CD8+,CD3-CD19+,CD3-CD16+,lymphocyte transformation rate)and humoral immunity(Ig G,Ig A,Ig M,C3,C4)in 168 RAU patients and 121 healthy people.According to clinical classification, these patients were divided into three groups:minor aphthous ulcer(Mi RAU),major aphthous ulcer(Ma RAU),and herpetiform ulcers(HU).According to the ulcer area, they were divided into two groups:<mean X group and≥mean X group. The levels of serum cellular immunity and humoral immunity were compared between groups. And analyze the relationship between the above indexes and age and gender.Results1.Compared with the healthy group, the levels of CD3+CD4+,CD4+/CD8+ratio,B cells and C3 in RAU group were lower, while the levels of CD3+CD8+,Ig G and Ig A were h i g h e r,t h e d i f f e r e n c e s w e r e s t a t i s t i c a l l y s i g n i f i c a n t(P<0.0 5);2.The level of CD3+CD4+cells was lower and the level of Ig G was higher in Ma RAU group than in Mi RAU group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);3.The level of C4 in Ma RAU group was higher than that in HU group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);4.The levels of Ig G and Ig A in ulcer area≥0.5cm~2 group were higher than those in ulcer area<0.5cm~2 group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);5.The CD4+/CD8+ratio and lymphocyte transformation rate were higher in age≥47 years group than in age<47 years group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);6.The ratio of CD4+/CD8+,lymphocyte transformation rate, and Ig M in female RAU group were higher, and Ig A was lower than those in male RAU group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion1.There are changes in cellular immunity and humoral immunity levels in RAU patients.2.There are differences in cellular and humoral immunity levels in RAU patients in terms of age and gender. The level of cellular immunity was significantly increased in patients older.Changes in cellular and humoral immunity levels were more pronounced in female patients than in male patients.3.The clinical features of RAU patients are related to the levels of cellular immunity and humoral immunity. The changes of cellular and humoral immunity in patients with Ma RAU were more obvious than those with Mi RAU and herpetiform ulcers. The level of humoral immunity was significantly increased in RAU patients with larger ulcer area.
