Prevalence,Awareness,Treatment,Control Of Hypertension And Associated Risk Factors Among 372 Rural Doctors In Liaoyang City

Objective: Analyze the prevalence,awareness,treatment and control rates of rural doctors in Liaoyang city and its influencing factors,clarify the possible problems of rural doctors in the prevention and treatment of hypertension at the grassroots level,and provide a scientific reference for the next step to formulate a comprehensive and effective hypertension prevention and control strategy.Methods: From October 2020 to March 2021,a cluster sampling method was used to select 374 rural doctors in Liaoyang county and Dengta city for questionnaire survey,physical examination and laboratory examination.Analyze the prevalence,awareness,treatment and control rates of hypertensive patients.At the same time,single and multivariate logistic regression models were used to analyze the risk factors of hypertension.Results: The prevalence rate of hypertension in rural doctors in Liaoyang city is 37.5%,and the prevalence of hypertension of males is higher than that of females(45.5%vs23.9%,P<0.01),both increase with age(all of P<0.01).The awareness,treatment and control rates of hypertension are 40.3%,30.2% and 7.9%,the men and women are 37.7%,26.4%,and 48.8%,41.7%,15.2%,respectively.Among the uncontrolled individuals,the distribution of stage1 hypertension,stage2 hypertension,and stage2 hypertension are 67.6%,23.0%,and 9.4%,respectively.Male(OR=2.29,95%CI: 1.22～4.27),increased age(40～49 years old OR=2.71,95%CI: 1.02～7.22;50～59 years old OR=3.22,95%CI: 0.99～10.49;≥60 years old OR=22.80,95%CI:6.23～83.42),family history of hypertension(OR=2.17,95%CI: 1.30～3.62),diabetes(OR=2.75,95%CI: 1.26～5.79),high Total cholesterol(OR=3.73,95%CI: 1.20～11.60),high and low density lipoprotein(OR=2.71,95%CI: 1.02～7.22),overweight/obesity(OR=2.96,95%CI: 1.58～5.56)are risk factors for hypertension in rural doctors.Conclusion: The prevalence of hypertension in rural doctors in Liaoyang city is high,but the awareness,treatment and control rates are low.It is urgent to strengthen the education of hypertension for village doctors,and raise their awareness of the severity of hypertension,so as to be able to timely and effectively realize the harm of hypertension to local residents in the prevention and treatment of hypertension.At the same time,we should further strengthen the standardization of treatment and medication of rural doctors.While effectively controlling their own hypertension,they can conduct reasonable treatment and management of local hypertensive patients,and truly play the role of the bottom of the rural tertiary medical care network.
