Cross-sectional Study Of Prevalence,Awareness,Treatment And Control Of Hypertension In Tianjin

Hypertension is a cardiovascular syndrome characterized by a sustained rise in arterial blood pressure.At present,the prevalence of hypertension in our society increases year by year with the increase of life style,diet structure and the pressure of modern social life.A survey conducted by Beijing Fuwai Hospital and National Cardiovascular Center covering 1,738,886 patients 35-75 years old nationwide showed that the prevalence of hypertension among adults aged 35-75 was 44.7%,with grade 2 and above of hypertension were 15.2%,and the awareness rate of hypertension(44.7%),treatment rate(30.1%)and control rate(7.2%)were low.In contrast,developed countries such as the United States,hypertension 20 years ago awareness,medication rates,control rates were 69%,53%,24%.According to estimates made by the United States in 2012,the "three rates" of hypertension were 85.4%,80.6% and 68.5% respectively.Based on the pilot project "Early Screening and Comprehensive Intervention of Cardiovascular Diseases at High Risk," this study conducted a large-scale screening of 36,215 people in 3 districts and 13 grassroots hospitals / community service centers in Tianjin,including: The patient's general demography,sociology information: age,gender,ethnicity,income,marriage,education,urban and rural areas,also includes the object of cardiovascular disease history and family history of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease,also includes the physical examination of the object(Blood pressure,height,weight,waist circumference)and laboratory tests(blood glucose,blood lipids).Using these data,the prevalence of hypertension,awareness rate,medication rate and control rate of all kinds of people were calculated.And using single factor logistics regression analysis speculated hypertension prevalence,awareness,medication,control factors.The screening of 36,215 people,the effective number of 35,992 people,19,183 were hypertensive patients,accounting for 53.3%,of which 1,2007 were aware to be ill,accounting for 64.39%,medication was 10863,accounting for 56.63%.There are 3007 people control to normal blood pressure,accounting for 15.68%.Compared with the published national data,the prevalence of hypertension in Tianjin is high,but the other "three rates" are also higher than the national average.The results of univariate regression analysis showed that the risk factors for the prevalence of hypertension include: age,male,minorities,rural residence,living alone,low family income,low education,smoking,drinking,obesity,central obesity,Stroke,cardiovascular disease,dyslipidemia,and family history of cardiovascular disease and stroke.The awareness of hypertension,male,Han nationality,living together,high income,high education,drinking as a risk factor.It is noteworthy that high income,high education is a risk factor for hypertension awareness,contrary to the national survey,probably because of sample bias.Other factors,including their own history of illness and family history,who have such a disease,or who have such a family in a family,also have higher rates of awareness,dosing and control of hypertension.
