| Objective:This paper analyzes the effect of Jianpi-Yishen-Huayu Decoction on the following aspects of patients suffering from type 2 diabetic kidney disease(stage Ⅳ)with the syndrome as spleen-kidney qi deficiency with blood basis:TCM clinical symptoms,renal function,blood glucose,blood lipid,and urinary protein quantification within 24 hours.It aims to provide a clinical basis for TCM treatment of this disease.Methods:A total of 72 patients with type 2 diabetic kidney disease(stage Ⅳ)who were hospitalized in the Renal department of Henan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2019 to December 2020 and who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,each group had 36 patients.Patients in the control group were offered with basic treatment of western medicine,while patients in the treatment group were additionally treated with Jianpi-Yishen-Huayu Decoction compared with the control group.The treatment period was 8weeks.During the experiment,we recorded the patients’ total TCM syndrome scores,single symptom scores,and indexes of blood glucose,blood lipid,renal function,and 24-hour urinary protein quantification before and after treatment.we also recorded the total effective rate of TCM symptoms and comprehensive effective rate of the disease after the treatment.Relevant safety indexes were monitored throughout the whole experiment.Finally,the data were summarized and analyzed through statistical software.Result:1.After treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was82.35% while that of the control group was 58.82%(P<0.05).Besides,for the total effective rate of TCM syndromes,the rate of the treatment group was 88.23% while that of the control group was 64.70%(P<0.05).It showed that the treatment group had a advantage over the control group.2.After treatment,the total scores of TCM symptoms in both groups decreased(P<0.01).By comparing the two groups,we found that the treatment effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.01).Compared with the situation before treatment,the scores of the following single symptoms for the treatment group greatly decreased,such as turbid urine,anorexia,tiredness,debility of lumbar and knees,limb swelling,limb numbness,cyanotic lips,and squamous and dry skin,it showed a significant change(P<0.01).Except the symptom of cyanotic lips,the other symptoms scores in the control group decreased(P<0.01).By comparing the two groups,the improvement of the above symptoms in the treatment group was more significant than that in the control group(P<0.05).3.After treatment,the flowing indexes of the two groups decreased,including 24-hour urinary protein quant fication,fasting blood glucose,glycated hemoglobin,cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein,creatinine and serum cystatin C(P<0.05),the estimated glomerular filtration rates,high-density lipoprotein of both groups were higher than before treatment(P<0.01),the treatment group was better than the control group in terms of all the indexes(P<0.01).The triglyceride in the control group had no significant change than before treatment(P>0.05),while the control group was batter than before(P<0.01),However,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).4.No abnormal safety indexes were found in the two groups,and no adverse reactions occurred.Conclusion:Jianpi-Yishen-Huayu Decoction can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients suffering from type 2 diabetic kidney disease(stage Ⅳ)with the syndrome as spleen-kidney qi deficiency with blood basis.The relevant indexes were also improved,such as blood lipid,blood glucose,renal function and 24-hour urinary protein quantification.With its safety and effectiveness,this treatment regimen is worthy of further study and promotion. |
