| Objectives To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Multi-direction needling combined with cervical jiaji acupoints in treating nerve radiculopathy(CSR)(TCM syndrome,qi stagnation and blood stasis),to provide a optimized treatment way and theoretical basis for the diagnosis and treatment on CSR.Methods According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,70 out patients from the acupuncture and moxibustion department of Shijiazhuang City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2019 to November 2020 were enrolled. The cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,35 cases in each group.Cases in the control group were treated with routine mild-reinforcing-and-attenuating method, and the treatment group was treated with Multi-direction needling method. The course of treatment for the two groups was 3 weeks.Observation was investigated before and after 3weeks,indexes including the visual analogue scale(VAS),Yasuhisa Tanaka Cervical Spondylosis Symptoms Scale 20-point method(CSSS)and the median and Ulnar Nerve F wave conduction Velocity detection(UNFV).All data were processed and analyzed with the statistical software SPSS23.0.Clinical efficacy of Multi-direction needling combined with cervical jiaji acupoints was evaluated on CSR(TCM syndrome,qi stagnation and blood stasis)Results 1 Comparison of general conditions: the gender, age and course of disease of the cases were compared and analyzed between the two groups pre-treatment,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),indicating that the two groups were comparable.2 VAS score: before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the VAS between the two groups of subjects, while there was statistically significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),and the curative effect of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).3 CSSS index: For the cases in two groups,CSSS showed no statistical difference before treatment(P>0.05).There are differences after treatment, being statistically significant(P<0.05),the score in the treatment group is higher than that of control group(P<0.05),suggesting that acupuncture at cervical jiaji points with Multi-direction acupuncture method can significantly improve the symptoms of pain, numbness, limb movement and so on,as well as improve the quality of life of cases.while compared with symptoms and hand function between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05),indicating that the two groups had the same efficacy in improving symptoms and hand function.compared and analyzed the work and live ability and physical signs(P<0.05),indicating that the Multidirection acupuncture group was stronger than the conventional acupuncture group.4Electromyographic detection of median nerve,UNFV and occurrence rate: before treatment, the median nerve,UNFV and occurrence rate were no statistical significance between the cases in the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,UNFV and ulnar nerve were improved in the treatment group, with statistical difference from that in the control group(P<0.05),indicating that the Multi-direction acupuncture group was stronger than the conventional acupuncture group.5 Curative effect contrast: The total effective rate in the treatment group was 90.90%,higher than 66.67% in the control group(P<0.05),showing there was a statistical difference in the comparative efficacy between the two groups after 3-week treatment(P<0.05),that the Multi-direction acupuncture group was stronger than the conventional acupuncture group. Conclusions 1 Acupuncture at Neck Jiaji Points in the treatment of CSR can significantly reduce the pain, promote the recovery of limb function, repair the damaged nerve of CSR,and effectively improve the quality of life of CSR patients.2 In clinical practice,Multi-direction acupuncture for the treatment of CSR is a simple, safe and and easy to operate method with certain effect, and there were no adverse consequences during the treatment, which is worthy of clinical promotion.Figure 0;Table 11;Reference 95... |
