Objective:The aim of this study was to observe the clinical efficacy of Roche’s "gouging method" in the treatment of Sympathetic Cervical Spondylosis(SCS)in Emei Traumatology School, and to suggest a discussion on its possible mechanism of action,in order to provide a new direction for the treatment of SCS.Methods:Seventy SCS patients selected by us were randomly divided into two groups using different conditions: the traditional manipulation group(control group A)and the hook method group(observation group B).The two groups were treated for 3courses of treatment, one course per week,5 times per week.Sympathetic Symptom Score(SSS),Visual Analogue Scale Score(SSS)and Sympathetic Symptom Score(Sympathetic Score-20 Score)before and after treatment were evaluated in both groups.VAS),The Medical Outcomes Study 36-item Short Form Health Survey,SF-36),The Generalized Anxiety Scale-7(GAD-7).SSS score,VAS score,SF-36 score and GAD-7 score at 1 month after treatment were observed, and all scores before treatment were compared.SPSS 26.0 software was used for statistical analysis of all data.Results:1.Baseline comparison General information(age, gender, body mass index(BMI),disease course)and pre-treatment SSS score,VAS score,SF-36 score and GAD-7 score were parallel in the cohort, and the final conclusion was statistically no difference(P > 0.05),which had a certain significance。2.Observation indicators(1)After treatment,SSS score,VAS score,SF-36 score and GAD-7 score of the two groups of patients were significantly lower than those before treatment, which was statistically significant(P < 0.01).After a certain period of treatment, the corresponding SSS score,VAS score,SF-36 score and GAD-7 score of each group were decreased, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Compared with group A,SSS score,VAS score,GAD-7 score and SF-36 score were significantly decreased in group B,both of which were statistically significant(P < 0.01).(2)Comparison of follow-up indexes 1 month after the end of treatment Compared with before treatment,VAS score,GAD-7 score and SSS score were all decreased in both groups 1 month after treatment, but SF-36 score was increased, with a statistically significant difference(P < 0.01).There were statistically significant differences in SSS score,VAS score,SF-36 score and GAD-7 score 1 month after the end of treatment among groups(P < 0.01).SSS score and VAS score in group B were significantly decreased, and SF-36 score was significantly increased compared with group A,which was statistically significant(P< 0.01).After certain effective treatment, the proportion of effective patients in group A and group B was 66.67% and 93.94% respectively. The effect of these two groups was different, which was of great statistical significance(P < 0.01).Conclusion:1.Compared with traditional massage,Roche’s "hook method" can improve the symptoms and anxiety of SCS more quickly and effectively. However,Roche’s hook method has no significant advantages in terms of pain, but has more advantages in improving the quality of life, and the treatment effect can be more lasting.2.In total efficiency,Roche "hook method" is better than the traditional massage technique.3.As a new idea for the treatment of SCS,Roche’s "hook method" is worthy of further study and exploration.
