Clinical Observation Of Huanglian Wendan Decoction And Suanzaoren Decoction In The Treatment Of Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation (Phlegm Fire Disturbs The Heart Syndrome)

Objective: The aim is to observe the clinical efficacy of Huanglian Wendan Tang combined with Suanzaoren Tang Plus in paroxysmal atrial fibrillation with phlegm and fire disturbing the heart,to discuss its feasibility and to assess its safety.Methods: Patients with a diagnosis of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation in Western medicine and a TCM disease and evidence of palpitations with phlegm and fire disturbing the heart,And attended the inpatient and outpatient departments of the Department of Cardiology,Selected patients attending the affiliate medical hospital of CDUTCM from January 2020 to January 2021 were randomly allocated into 30 subjects in the observed group and control group,Random grouping using doll ’ s random table.The observation period was set uniformly at 4 weeks.The Control Group was treated with usual basic therapies and regulatory western medicine,while the Observation Group was supplemented with Huang Lian Wen Dan Tang and Suan Zao Ren Tang with the addition of flavor to the Control Group.The therapeutic efficacy of TCM was assessed by observing the TCM score before and after treating the patients in both groups.and analysing the atrial fibrillation symptom scores,ECG and ECG indicators(24-hour mean ventricular rate,e,number of atrial fibrillation seizures,time duration of AF,hearts rate variability(HRV)pre and post treated scores of the both groups: including time domain indexes SDNN;SDANN;RMSSD).Results: The results showed that Huang lian Wen dan Tang combined with Suan zao ren Tang Plus combined with Bisoprolol Fumarate Tablets was significantly effective(P < 0.05)compared with Bisoprolol Fumarate Tablets alone in treating paroxysmal atrial fibrillation with phlegm and fire disturbing the hearts improving TCM conditions and relieving constitutional symptoms,reduce the frequency and duration of atrial fibrillation episodes,and improve the24-hour mean ventricular rate and heart rate variability,with good safety.Post-treatment,the effectiveness rates were 93.3% in the observed group and 72.2% in the controlled group.In terms of overall efficacy,the observational Group was superior to the control Group.During the clinical observation process,one case was withdrawn from the control group and a total of 29 cases were completed.Conclusion: Compared with the single drug Bisoprolol Fumarate Tablets,Huang lian Wen dan Tang combined with Suan zao ren Tang Plus combined with Bisoprolol Fumarate Tablets is clinically effective in treating paroxysmal atrial fibrillation with phlegm and fire disturbing the heart,Improves TCM signs,relieves clinically significant pain,diminishes the number of Paf exacerbations,and decreases the duration of PAF exacerbation,reduce the 24-hour mean ventricular rate,and also improve the heart rate variability,thus improving the quality of life of patients.
