ObjectiveA random and controlled study was used to compare the biological markers and TCM syndrome scores of traditional Chinese medicine treatment group,acupuncture-medicine combination group and control group before and after group treatment, thereby evaluating the clinical efficacy and safety of Ningxin Yangrong decoction and acupuncture combined with medicine in the treatment of patients with qi-yin deficiency after catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation.MethodA total of 96 patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation who were treated with catheter ablation and postoperative syndrome differentiation is the type of qi-yin deficiency in The second affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2019 to August 2020 were randomly divided into traditional Chinese medicine treatment group,acupuncture-medicine combination group and control group. All the three groups were treated with standardized western medicine, and on this basis, the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group was treated with Ningxin Yangrong decoction for 4 weeks, and the acupuncture and medicine group was treated with Ningxin Yangrong decoction combined with acupuncture for 4 weeks. Those with other basic diseases were given corresponding treatment. The changes of NT-pro BNP level,TCM clinical symptom score and related laboratory indexes of the three groups before and after treatment were observed, and the recurrence rate of arrhythmia during the observation period and 6 months after operation were compared among the three groups. The statistical software R(4.0.3)was used for data statistics, and the corresponding test methods were used for different data.P < 0.05 was regarded as statistically significant.Result1.The level of NT-pro BNP in the three groups after 4 weeks of intervention was significantly lower than that before intervention, but there was no significant difference between any two of the three groups(P > 0.05),and there was no significant decrease between the three groups in 3 months after operation compared with that after 4 weeks of intervention(P > 0.05),but there was still a significant difference between the three groups after 3 months of intervention(P < 0.05).2.In the improvement of symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine:(1)After 4weeks of intervention, the total score of TCM symptoms and the scores of individual TCM symptoms in the three groups were significantly improved compared with those before intervention, and the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group and acupuncture-medicine combination group were better than those in the control group(P <0.05).On 3 months after operation, there was no significant difference compared with 4weeks after intervention. But there was significant improvement compared with before intervention, and the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group and acupuncture-medicine combination group were better than the control group(P < 0.05).(2)Among the individual symptom scores, the improvement of palpitation, shortness of breath and fatigue was more obvious.(3)After 3 months of treatment in the three groups, the total effective rates of TCM symptoms were 31.25% in the control group,73.30% in the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group and 81.60% in the acupuncture-medicine combination group, respectively. There were significant differences between the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group and the acupuncture-medicine combination group and the control group(P < 0.05).But there was no significant difference between the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group and the acupuncture-medicine combination group(P > 0.05).3.Comparison of recurrence rate of recurrent arrhythmias during observation period and 6 months after catheter ablation between the two groups:(1)During the observation period, there were 12 cases of recurrent arrhythmia in the control group(37.50%),3 cases in the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group(10.00%)and 2 cases in the acupuncture-medicine combination group(6.45%).There was significant difference among the three groups(P < 0.05).However,there was no significant difference between the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group and the acupuncture-medicine combination group(P > 0.05).(2)Six months after operation, the recurrence rate was 12.50%(4 cases)in the control group,6.67%(2 cases)in the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group,3.23%(1 cases)in the acupuncture-medicine combination group, and there was no significant difference between any two of the three groups(P > 0.05).4.Comparison of the safety of the three groups: there were no side effects and toxic reactions in the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group, the acupuncture-medicine combination group and the control group, and there was no significant difference in the three routine tests and liver and kidney functions among the three groups compared with those before treatment.Conclusion1.Catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation can significantly reduce the level of preoperative NT-pro BNP in patients with atrial fibrillation, but there is no significant benefit from taking Ningxin Yangrong decoction and acupuncture combined with medicine.2.Ningxin Yangrong decoction and acupuncture combined with medicine can effectively reduce the score of TCM symptoms after operation, and significantly improve the clinical symptoms such as palpitation, shortness of breath, fatigue, chest tightness, dizziness and so on.3.Ningxin Yangrong decoction and acupuncture combined with medicine can significantly reduce recurrent arrhythmias during the observation period, but have no significant effect on the recurrence after 6 months of catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation.4.Ningxin Yangrong decoction and acupuncture combined with medicine have good safety in three routine tests and laboratory data such as liver and kidney function.
