Quantitative Assessment Of Superficial Features Of Healthy People’s Heart Related Acupoints And Analysis Of Its Influencing Factors

Objective:Through systematic quantitative sensory testing,the range and characteristics of bo dy surface sensation of healthy people at heart-related acupoints were established,the effects of age,sex,body mass index(BMI)on them were analyzed.To explore the charac teristics of heart-related acupoints in "resting state",and to provide references for esta blishing the normal value of acupoint-surface sensation in chronic stable angina,object ive baseline parameters are provided for the definition and evaluation of acupoint sen sitization in patients with chronic stable angina.Methods:In this study,200 healthy people from Chengdu,Kunming,Xi’an and Changsha wer e selected as subjects by the cross-sectional study of clinical epidemiology,body surfa ce temperature and tenderness threshold of the local acupoints of the heart and the a cupoints along the Meridians were measured by Thermal Imager(Fotric 226)and Tende rness Detector(WAGNER,Force One FDIX,Wagner Instruments,Greenwich,CT,USA),and the pain threshold and temperature of the acupoints were collected,and the basic inf ormation and test results were recorded by Excel16,analyzed by IBM SPSS26.0 statist ical software.Results:1.Quantitative evaluation and characteristics of body surface sensation of healthy people and heart-related acupoints(1).The total average pain threshold of 15 acupoints in healthy subjects was 3172.54 ± 1308.77 gf,the order from low to high was as follows:HT1<HT3<RN17<RN14<PC3<PC6<PC4<HT<HT7<BL14 R<BL14 L<BL15 L<BL16 L<BL15 R<BL16 R.The acupoint with the highest tenderness threshold is BL16 R,and the lowest acupoint i s HT1.(Capital”L” for left,” R” for right,those not marked with “R” or “L” are left acupoints or points on the anterior median line the same below)(2).The body surface temperature of 15 acupoints of healthy subjects was meas ured.The total average temperature range was 33.15 ± 1.46 °C,the order of mean tem perature from low to high is:HT3<HT6<HT7<PC6<PC4<PC3<BL16 R<BL16 L<BL15 R<BL15 L<BL14 L<RN14<BL14 R<RN17<HT1.The highest point of body surface t emperature is HT1,and the lowest point is HT3.(3)The results of the comparison of body surface temperature and tenderness thr eshold at different acupoints showed that the body surface temperature and tenderness threshold tended to have the opposite trend,that is,the acupoint tenderness threshold at higher body surface temperature was lower,and the acupoint tenderness threshold at lower body surface temperature was higher.2.Analysis of related factors of body surface sensation in healthy people and he art-related acupoints(1)The body surface temperature of HT7、HT6、PC6、RN17、RN14 acupoints had statistical difference between different sexes(P<0.05),and both women had higher body surface temperatures than men.The tenderness thresholds of HT7、PC6、RN17、RN14 were significantly different in different sexes(P<0.05),and the tenderness thresh olds of male were higher than that of female.(2)By comparing the skin temperature between the acupoints of different BMI g roups,the results showed that,the skin temperature of BL14 L、BL15 L、BL14 R、BL15 R、BL16 L in different BMI groups were statistically different(P< 0.05);There was no significant difference in body surface tenderness threshold between different BMI groups.(3)The temperature of acupoints in different age groups had statistical difference only in HT6,and the tenderness threshold of acupoints in different age groups had s tatistical difference only in RN17(P< 0.05).Conclusions:1.The temperature of acupoints in the trunk was higher than that in the extrem ities;the tenderness threshold in the back was the highest,followed by the abdomen an d the left upper limb.2.The pressure pain threshold of Bladder Meridian is the highest,followed by Pericardium Meridian,Heart Meridian,Ren meridian was the lowest.The body surface temperature of Ren meridian acupoints are the highest,followed by Bladder Meridian,Pericardium Meridian,and Heart Meridian.3.Age had no significant effect on the pain threshold of heart-related acupoints in healthy people,and sex had some effect on the pain threshold and temperature of heart-related acupoints in healthy people.In normal people,the pressure valve of left upper limb acupoints was higher than that of anxious people.
