| Objective:Alopecia areata is a sudden and common pattern of alopecia areata with inflammatory and scar free characteristics.The most common manifestation is hair loss plaque with clear boundary on the scalp,without obvious signs of inflammation or scar.In the lesion area,patients generally have no obvious conscious symptoms,and occasionally have medical records of pruritus,tingling and numbness.Nail changes can be seen in patients with more severe baldness.With the rapid development of society,the increase of mental stress and the acceleration of the pace of life,the incidence of alopecia areata is gradually increasing.In China,alopecia areata affects more and more people and affects the image,self-confidence,work and quality of life of patients.Although some alopecia areata can heal itself,we still need to explore more treatment methods to help patients with alopecia areata shorten the course of disease and alleviate the tension and anxiety caused by hair loss.Therefore,the clinical efficacy of Tripeptide-1 copper in the treatment of alopecia areata is studied to provide a new method for the treatment of alopecia areata.Method:Collect and analyze the relevant data of patients with alopecia areata who came to the second hospital of Jilin University from September 1,2019 to June 30,2021,refer to the epidemiological characteristics of alopecia areata,and study the influence of relevant factors on the onset age and severity of alopecia areata.Xinglai liquid skin dressing（skin repair type）is mainly composed of Tripeptide-1 copper.It is applied externally to the scalp,pressing the finger abdomen until absorption,once in the morning and once in the evening.Oral compound glycyrrhizin for three months.The therapeutic effect and adverse reactions were observed.Result:Among 152 patients,70（46.1%）were male and 82（53.9%）were female.The average age was 28.4 ± 15.6,accounting for 66.4%.The age of onset was 2-68 years old,the average age of onset was 27.7 ± 15.7 years old,the median age of onset was 26 years old,concentrated in 11-40 years old,accounting for 66.4%.The shortest course of disease was 1 day and the longest was 2 years.Family history was positive in 3 cases（2.0%）,and no family history in 149 cases（98.0%）.There were 17 smokers（11.2%）and 135 non-smokers（88.8%）;There were 12 drinking patients（7.9%）and 140 non drinking patients（92.1%）;9 patients（5.9%）smoked and drank alcohol;81 patients（53.3%）had poor sleep quality or stayed up late;87 patients（57.2%）were nervous,anxious or stressed.There was no significant difference in the effects of gender,smoking,drinking,poor sleep quality（staying up late）,tension and anxiety（stress）on the age of onset.149 patients without family history were analyzed.Patients with smoking,drinking and poor sleep quality（staying up late）and tension and anxiety（stress）（7）were compared with patients without smoking,drinking,poor sleep quality（staying up late）and tension and anxiety（stress）（40）,P = 0.149 > 0.05,which was not statistically significant.Gender,age,smoking,drinking,poor sleep quality（staying up late）,tension and anxiety（stress）had no statistical significance on the severity of alopecia areata.No adverse reactions such as scalp infection,edema,increased dandruff,dryness,tightness and aggravation of pruritus were found.Conclusion:1.There was no significant difference in the severity of alopecia areata between patients’ gender,smoking,drinking,poor sleep quality（staying up late）and tension and anxiety（stress）.2.Xinglai liquid skin dressing combined with Compound Glycyrrhizin is a protective factor in the treatment of alopecia areata.3.Combined medication can reduce the recurrence rate of alopecia areata.4.The effective rates of Tripeptide-1 copper combined with Compound Glycyrrhizin in the treatment of alopecia areata for 3 months and 6 months were 74.1%and 87.7% respectively.Alopecia areata was improved after an average of 2.5 months.No obvious related side effects were found with Xinglai liquid skin dressing,which was safe and effective. |
