| Objective To explore the epidemiological characteristics and the related factors of hypertension among Naxi rural minority in trans-plateau regions in Lijiang City,Yunnan Province. Methods A total of 475 Naxi people in Lijiang City,Yunnan Province were selected by stratified cluster random sampling method to analyze the epidemiological characteristics of hypertension among Naxi rural minority. Results The prevalence of hypertension was 47.16%(224/475)among Naxi rural minority.Compared with Naxi rural minority at 1465.35-1740.02m above sea level,Naxi rural minority at2981.71-3212.04m above sea level has higher prevalence of hypertension,RBC,HCT and Hb;while the finger pulse oxygen saturation was lower(all P<0.05).Hypertensive patients had higher levels of age,Na+,triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),fasting blood glucose, pulse than non-hypertensive patients, while had lower levels of Ca2+,Mg2+,blood oxygen saturation of finger than non-hypertensive patients(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis indicated that altitude(OR=2.090,95%CI 1.289~3.386),dyslipidemia(OR=1.766,95%CI 1.095~2.848),age(OR=1.064,95%CI 1.040~1.088),fasting blood glucose(OR=1.268,95%CI 1.016~1.582)and pulse(OR=1.016,95%CI 1.002~1.032)were positively correlated with the incidence of hypertension among Naxi rural minority, and Mg2+(OR=0.012,95%CI 0.003~0.283)and finger pulse oxygen saturation(OR=0.929,95%CI 0.880~0.982)were negatively correlated with the incidence of hypertension among Naxi rural minority. Conclusion The prevalence of hypertension among Naxi rural minority in trans-plateau regions is high.Plateau hypoxia environment is a risk factor for hypertension among Naxi rural minority. |
