| In the international exchange,the C-E diplomatic interpreting provides an efficient way for foreigners to understand China.However,great differences in language habits and thinking modes between China and English-speaking countries have brought about some challenges concerning language expressions and cultural transmission to interpreters.The study is based on the Theory of Eco-Translatology put forward by Professor Hu Gengshen.The author of this thesis makes a study of the strategies for the C-E diplomatic interpreting from linguistic,cultural and communicative dimensions and discusses the translational eco-environment of the C-E diplomatic interpreting,taking the consecutive interpreting of the Press Conference held by Premier Li in 2015 as corpora.The author of this study points out that in the course of the C-E diplomatic interpreting,interpreters should firstly make full preparations before the interpreting,then adapt themselves to the eco-environment of the diplomatic interpreting and finally deal with this kind of interpreting in the way of multidimensional adaptive and selective transformation.The author uses the Theory of Eco-Translatology to analyze the specific examples,aiming at providing some more appropriate strategies for the C-E diplomatic interpreting and helping interpreters improve their level of interpreting.Therefore,the present study is of practical value. |
