Echoes Of Zen Sounds | | Posted on:2021-10-14 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:L Y Li | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2505306104989709 | Subject:Chinese Modern and Contemporary Literature | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Motif rewriting is an important tradition and main method of literary narrative.The narrative discords appearing in the historical biography provide a space for polysemy interpretation for modern writers to reconstruct Kumorosh.Since Kumarajiva first appeared in Shi Zhecun’s ancient novels in the 1930 s,the image of a monk who has been quiet for decades has erupted in the long writings since the new century,including literary writers Xu Zhaoshou and Gao Jianqun,online novels Both Jia Xiaochun and the religious writer Lingwu Master reconstructed this prototype with different strokes.Born out of different era backgrounds and historical contexts,blending writers’ different aesthetic tendencies and creative experiences,the evolution of Kumarajiva’s image is accompanied by the changes and demands of modern and contemporary Chinese literary thoughts.Shi Zhecun’s writing through the process of arguing the reason and desire of the monk’s inner world revealed the expulsion of the divinity in the personality structure by the victory of human nature.Xiaochun placed Kumarajiva on the production line of consumer social network literature,and used historical jokes to dispel the sacredness of monks.Different from their subversive rewriting,Xu Zhaoshou demonstrated the roaming of the monk’s mind and the transformation of his spirit through the imagination of "Ask the Dao" in the restoration of Kumarajiva’s life course.Gao Jianqun transplanted his heroic view of history into the reconstruction of characters,and opened up the obscured history with the interpretation of the fate of Kumarajiva and Helianbo.As a disciple of Buddhism,the spiritual enlightenment master continued the tradition of monk narrative in the rewriting,and highlighted the missionary consciousness of the senior monk.As a result,a series of important value propositions in Chinese modern and contemporary literature originated from Kumorosh ’s restatement phenomenon: the game of“being a man”and“becoming a buddha”reflects the dynamic adjustment of the concepts of human nature and divinity,and “flesh” and “ The crucifixion of "soul" refers to the transcendence of spiritual life’s observation of secular life;the treatment of "documentary" and "fiction" reflects the various gestures of history between construction and deconstruction.At the same time,this article also returns to the narrative level of the novel.The discovery of time,space,perspective,and language refines the commonality and individuality of the writers in the creation.In the analysis of narrative art,it further generates the thinking of "modernity and tradition".On the occasion of vigorously promoting the revival of traditional culture,the reconstruction of Kumorosh has restored our long-standing cultural memory.On the ancient Silk Road,modern writers discovered the traction of life by "belief" and the salvation of soul by "Nirvana" in the traces of monks asking about Taoism,making the Zen sound thousands of years ago echoed again in the spiritual wasteland of modern people on. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Kumarajiva, Reconstruction, Man and buddhahood, Secularity and surpass, Modernity and tradition | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
