Story, Narrative And Presentation - A Study Of The Creation Of Humanistic Documentaries

The documentary uses the non-fiction method to show the essential characteristics of life.The humanistic documentary is an important branch of the documentary.It shows the life of ordinary people,carrying the public's sense of identity to history and culture,paying attention to the development of society and human beings.It's the most popular form of documentary that presents these contents to the audience with the style of story.From the perspective of communication,sociology,and history,humanistic documentaries use documentary techniques to restore history,record reality,and predict the future.They are also important means of promoting the development of human civilization.Using the theoretical knowledge of narratology to introduce the narrative perspective,narrative structure and narrative expression into the study of humanistic documentaries,it can not only broaden the theoretical horizon and application scope of humanistic documentaries,but also enrich the presentation of humanistic documentaries and satisfy the audience's high-level Aesthetic needs.This paper takes "story,narrative and presentation--the study of the creation of humanistic documentaries" as the topic,uses literature analysis and case analysis methods and other research methods,through the analysis and interpretation of some outstanding humanistic documentaries in recent years,combined with the experience of author.In short,It discusses the concrete expression and effect of the narrative methods of humanistic documentaries from three aspects:the narrative perspective,narrative structure and narrative rhythm of humanistic documentaries.The second part analyzes the ways and effects of different narrative perspectives on the story from the characteristics of humanistic documentaries,including two narrative perspectives of the omniscience perspective and the limited knowledge perspective;The third part discusses the different narrative effects that humanistic documentaries will produce from different narrative structures,and analyzes the linear narrative structure including the central series structure and the progressive structure,and the non-linear narrative structure includes the plate structure and the casual talk,and discusses the effect of the structure on the different presentation of stories in humanistic documentaries;The fourth part analyzes the role of narrative expression in enhancing the attractiveness and artistry of humanistic documentaries,mainly from the narrative of sound,picture and sound picture combination to discusses the artistic presentation of stories in humanistic documentaries.This paper combines some classic humanities documentaries and the author's own graduation work "Nv Er Hui" to demonstrate and summarize the various narrative methods presented in the stories in the humanities documentary,hoping to provide reference for the subsequent creators of humanities documentaries.
