Johannes Vermeer’s Painting Language

Painting language is a means of painting artists express their art thoughts,different artists have their own unique painting language,vermeer as a 17 th century Dutch golden age of the famous artist,his painting language has long been widely attention,this article will attempt to from vermeer’s family background,17 th century Dutch study and guild communication factors to analyze the factors of vermeer painting language form.From the discussion of the use of camera obscura,to analyze the tools and science and technology for the artist’s auxiliary role.From the perspective of visual perception language,this paper tries to explain the composition of vermeer’s pictures and his artistic features.
