A Report On The C-E Translation Of The Implementation Opinions On The Professional And Technical Posts Assessment Of TJU

In recent years,with the international development of education,experts and scholars studying higher education have made achievements in various aspects.It is necessary to translate relevant documents to adapt to the development of internationalization.Entrusted by the Department of Management and Economics in Tianjin University,the translator completed the translation of the regulatory document The Implementation Opinions on the Professional and Technical Posts Assessment of TJU.The regulatory documents are more formal in terms of content format,and it requires the author to deliver accurate information simply and clearly.Based on the characteristics of the text,the author concludes that the choice and arrangement of information in the translation process is determined by the prominent degree of the information.CL believes that different people has different ways of understanding the objective world.The process of translation is the process of understanding the “meaning”of the original text and reconstructing the“meaning”.Langacker proposed the theory of“Construal”,which is defined as“the ability to understand the same scene in different ways”.The author integrates,analyzes,processes and translates the original text according to the Construal theory.At the same time,the author summarizes the problems encountered in the translation process,and explores the applicability of the theory of Construal to the translation of such texts.The translation report is divided into four parts.The first part mainly introduces the task and background of this translation practice.The second part describes the translation process in a more systematic way and introduces the theory of Construal.The third part analyzes specific translation cases based on the problems encountered in translation.Based on the four dimensions,scope and background,specificity,perspective and salience,the corresponding solutions and translation skills are explained.The fourth part summarizes the translation practice,and then concludes the experiences and inspirations which helps the translator master more translation skills to instruct translation practice.
