Two Creative Approaches To The Installation Art Of Tomás Saraceno

Installation art is at the forefront of current art creation.It has produced many works expressing the relationship between technology and art.Tomás Saraceno created a series of installation arts with unique creative methods,and explored scientific and technological propositions such as space,time and universe from the perspective of the artist,providing scientific meaning for the dynamic medium of installation art,enriched and discussed the relationship between technology and art.This article believes that there are two creative ways in the works of Tomás Saraceno: "Through Reason" and "Through Technology"."Through Reason" is the scientific and technological discussion of Tomás Saraceno’s construction of Utopia City from the perspective of rationalism.It originates from the precision of "rational" and the variety of "movement" of rationalism.It mainly expresses the intervention of creation by architects The scientific exploration of truth with scientists,the representative work is the social structure of "City of Clouds"."Through Technology" is an artistic exploration of the idea of generating universe as described by Tomás Saraceno from the perspective of naturalism.It originates from the reduction of naturalism and the intentionality of "seeing".It mainly expresses the artist’s installation.The expression of creation and the rhythm of the musician’s rhythm are representative of the spatial characteristics of the work as "Special Matter." The research finally shows that Tomás Saraceno’s research is his artistic response and ultimate care for the rapid development of science and technology,and has important reference significance for the innovation of power installations in the field of artistic creation.
