Based on corpus linguistics theory and lexical theory, the thesis analyzes the linguistic facts of BCC corpus using Ant Conc software by the means of data-driven.This thesis studies the similarities and differences between “Biǎodá”(express),“Biǎoshì”(show;express)and “Biǎoxiàn”(show;express)in five aspects,i.e.high-frequency collocates, colligation, syntactic function, semantic features and language form markness. The study shows that these three words can be followed by nouns, adjectives and verbs. From the perspective of syntactic function, all three words can be followed by noun object, and " Biǎoshì" can be also followed by verb object and adjective object. When used as complements, the follow-up verb "chū(lái)" and "adjective" can be used after "Biǎodá" and“Biǎoxiàn”,or the adjective is a modifier of a noun object. In the language form markness,“Biǎodá” and “Biǎoshì” generally follow "duì /xiàng +object",while “Biǎoxiàn” is often followed by "zài…fāngmiàn/shàng".The common semantic feature is showing thoughts, feelings and attitudes. The distinguishing semantic feature is that “Biǎoshì” represents a certain meaning, shows the plan intention and factual situation and speech act;“Biǎodá” is to express a certain trait, intention and concept and express the inner feelings;“Biǎoxiàn” is to express abstract and complex things, presents a certain state or degree of development, displays some characteristics of the self or itself and shows some kinds of mood.Besides, the thesis classifies and analyzes the misuse of “Biǎodá”,“Biǎoshì” and “Biǎoxiàn” in Chinese learner corpus combining with the grammatical and semantic features of these three words with the high-frequency collocations of the native speakers. Finally,it proposes some suggestions on chunk teaching.
