Feng jicai’s historical novels all focus on the life of the underclass in tianjin at the end of the 20 th century.Taking feng jicai’s historical novels as the research object,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of his historical novels from three aspects: the realistic background of the cultural collision between China and the west,the analysis of his historical novels,and the historical background of his creation.This paper studies Feng Jicai’s series of historical novels by means of detailed reading of the text,and grasps the historical view of the writer’s creation and the reflection on the collision of Chinese and Western cultures.This paper discusses the historical background of the collision between Chinese and Western cultures in Feng Jicai’s historical novels and analyzes his texts in depth.This paper analyzes the characteristics and shortcomings of the writer’s early creation from Feng Jicai’s two early works,Yihe Quan and the Legend of the Lantern.Feng Jicai is a writer with a sense of social responsibility and a sense of national culture.His works are drawn from the real life of the society.It has always been his source of writing to express his thoughts on the traditional culture of the nation through novels.
