ShengPingBaoFa is a "the Journey to the West" based legend drama which was written in the Kangqian period of Qing Dynasty.It is typical palace dramaknown as "Four basic drama" of Qing Dynasty together with QuanShanJinKe,DingZhiChunQiu and ZhongYiXuanTu.The scale of ShengPingBaoFa is much ahead of the other "Journey to the West" based drama,consider its unique stage,numerous actors,and the magnificent scene.Besides,the emotions in rhyming lyrics and splendid rhetoric given by the composer ZhangZhao,has sublimated the literariness and artistry of ShengPingBaoFa and also impacted the following "Journey to the West" based drama so deeply with its elegant word and huge scale.This paper consists of introduction,paper test and conclusion.The introduction is about the study of ShengPingBaoFa by the academia before.Will describe the research of "the Journey to the West" story,"the Journey to the West" drama,Qing Dynasty drama and ShengPingBaoFa itself.Then "ShengPing" and "BaoFa" separately.To comment "ShengPing" from "Song" and ceremony function;to comment "BaoFa" from "Du" and religious spirit.To analysis how the name and function of ShengPingBaoFa showing the profound intention of demonstrating imperial power and propagating BuddhismThe paper test consists four section.The first section focus on the "palace drama" characteristic of ShengPingBaoFa.To discuss how the using of "Fortune Wealth Longevity" stage of Qing Dynasty,the relationship between cast size and scene,and the special acting function make ShengPingBaoFa a unique Qing Dynasty palace drama.The second section give a discussion of ShengPingBaoFa which in the evolution of series "the Journey to the West" story.From the aspect of inheriting,evolution,and inspiring to analysis the deeply influence to ShengPingBaoFa given by the novel "the Journey to the West" and the drama "the Journey to the West".And also make a comment of ShengPingBaoFa’s original story,evolution and impaction to the later ages.The third section focus on the moral of ShengPingBaoFa.From the perspective of the composer ZhangZhao,analysis how he giving the drama rhyming lyrics and satirizing moral.The fourth section is conclusion.The conclusion first to summarize the paper,then discuss the connection between ShengPingBaoFa and QuanShanJinKe.By noticing some trails of "the Journey to the West" drama can be found in folk "MuLian" drama,to find the connection within them and to speculate if those connection was given by ShengPingBaoFa.
