| Senior high school students’ misbehaviors in English class are very common,which makes English teachers under huge pressure.These inappropriate behaviors can cause teaching quality and efficiency lower,influence normal teaching order and even be harmful to physically and mentally healthy development of English teachers and students in the long term.Taking No.N Middle School of B City for example,the author deeply explores the performance,classification and influential factors of senior high school students’ misbehaviors in English class by using documentary study,classroom observation,questionnaire survey and interview methods,and then give specific countermeasures which provide teaching reference for English teachers and improve English classroom management ability.There are five parts in this thesis.In the introduction part,it elaborates the background,purpose,significance,the literature analysis and research methods.In the second part,it defines students’ misbehaviors,students’ misbehaviors in class,senior high school students’ misbehaviors in English class and its classifications.Then,it introduces two relevant basic theories,which are self-regulation learning theory and cognitive behavior modification theory.It also clarifies the harm that senior high school students’ misbehaviors in English class may cause.In the third part,the author analyzes questionnaires which was given the students in three different grades in No.N Middle School of B City.The conclusions are as followed: firstly,the main characteristics of senior high school students’ misbehaviors in English class are universality and diversity;secondly,the differences of senior high school students’ misbehaviors in English class are mainly presented in age,gender,score,teaching period and space sides.In the fourth part,the author specifically analyzes the influential factors of senior high school students’ misbehaviors from the aspect of students,teachers,school environment,family environment and social environment.In the last part,according to the characteristics and influential factors of senior high school students’ misbehaviors,the author puts forward some useful solutions,which include: to strengthen students’ psychological health education and students’ self-management ability;to cultivate students’ interest of learning English,to help students grasp English learning methods;to improve teachers’ teaching and management level;to create a harmonious campus atmosphere,to broaden the ways of elevating teachers’ competence;to form family-school cooperation. |
