Self-redemption On The Way To Conversion ——Research On Shi Tiesheng’s Philosophy Of Survival

In the contemporary Chinese literary world,Shi Tiesheng is an outstanding writer with unique charm.Based on his survival experience and life perception,he deeply dug into the real situation of significant themes of life,such as doom and fate,and showed solicitude for the destiny of individuals and humanity,so that he was known as a contemporary "philosophical" writer.In the devastation of disease,Shi Tiesheng continued to trek to the heights of the soul.Beyond the dilemma of doom,he saw the truth of existence that human beings were continuously living in the blemish.In the sustained pursuit,Shi Tiesheng’s life philosophy was also getting more and more plentiful.Process philosophy and religious spirit are unique survival philosophies explored by Shi Tiesheng.Although Shi Tiesheng himself did not summarize with systematic and complete theoretical writings,his philosophical and wise remarks are all enlightening to readers.The tireless exploration of the human spiritual realm enabled Shi Tiesheng to transcend the identity of the disabled and become one of the most complete person in the spiritual realm.This thesis includes three parts: introduction,main part and conclusion.The main part is divided into three chapters:In the first chapter,Shi Tiesheng discovered that people were born in a mutilated state after the advent of tragedy.This chapter combines Shi Tiesheng’s life experience,digs his mental journey after encountering a great change in fate,and the mental illness that the shackles of the disabled brought to his spirit.Shi Tiesheng integrated his soul into the literature,creating a unique disabled person’s world with Shi Tiesheng’s brand.In this world,Shi Tiesheng discovered that not just disabled people had blemish,in fact everyone lived in a kind of disability.Shi Tiesheng further discovered that destiny can’t be dominated by human beings.The contingency and absurdity of fate are destinies that people can’t escape.People can only understand and accept the absurdity of destiny.The second chapter is about the process philosophy discovered by Shi Tiesheng in the dilemma of life.Freed from the temptation of death,Shi Tiesheng chose the path of writing.Eventually he discovered that the meaning of life existed in the process of writing.Expanding by himself,he found that if people wanted to surmount the difficulties in reality,they must recognize and accept the nihilism of the purpose,and turn their vision from the purpose to the process.Only in this way can people get out of the desperation of fate.From the goal to the process is Shi Tiesheng’s rational choice after exploring the truth of death,and also hisspiritual magic to deal with the ultimate dilemma of life.Shi Tiesheng further urged people to continuously transcend their self-limitations in the process.The intuitive manifestation of human autonomy is to fight against fate.Through the Existentialism,Shi Tiesheng further explained that the process of human existence determined human innate character,and that life was a trekking journey to death.The third chapter is about the religious spirit that Shi Tiesheng realized in despair.Shi Tiesheng was influenced by Buddhism and Christianity at an early age,which gave birth to the desire of the gods to redeem himself during the illness.Shi Tiesheng understood the necessity of life’s suffering and incompleteness.He advocated that people should accept the limitation of destiny and move from the reality of suffering to spiritual transcendence.In the pursuit,Shi Tiesheng discovered that people actually walked on the road of life by relying on the belief in God,and the God who guided people was actually people themselves.The process philosophy and religious spirit discovered by Shi Tiesheng in his life journey complement each other: people’s pursuit of perfection is always on the road,and the appearance of God is only in the process of people’s pursuit.Therefore,human belief is a pursuing road,the conversion of man to God is not in one place,but on the road.Only by moving forward with hope in the constant trek can people realize their self-redemption,overcome themselves,surpass their difficulties,and certify the meaning of their existence.
