Travel Writing provides information on the activities of traveler in relatively unfamiliar physical and cultural spaces.From 1789 to 1795,the travel writing of British travelers during the French Revolution reveals a model of the politics of travel,in which the revolutionary landscape,political foresight and romantic sentiment blended and interacted.Travelers are always seek ways to transport the Revolution into their own world of meaning and the close observation of the revolution stimulated the more complicated and contradictory revolutionary emotions of British travelers,and also changed the inherent political concepts of travelers,and then re-examined British political affairs.What’s more,as a whole event,the empirical narrative of travel writing challenges the native British imagination and abstract political rhetoric,and partially influences the reader’s point of view.At the same time,travel writing during the Revolution also showed the connection between personal psychology and political views under the revolutionary events.Since the period of terror and the massacre,the radicals have begun to reflect on their revolutionary theories and visions,The radicals rebalanced the "French Revolution" and "Revolutionary Ideal",the identities of "Radicals" and "Betrayers",seeking to defend the revolution.From 1789 to 1795,travel writing reflects changes in the emotions and attitudes of the author’s "seeing" of the French Revolution,and the political implications implied were continuously excavated.
