| Munao Zhaiwa is the creation epic of the Jingpo and is widely spread in the areas inhabited by the Jingpo, which has been developed and inherited by relying on the traditional Song Festival of the Jingpo and the repeated singing of the singer Zhaiwa. And in 2011,it was listed as the third batch of intangible cultural heritages in our country.Owing to the late collection, compilation and publication of Munao Zhaiwa, besides, the Parry-Lord Oral Formulaic Theory centers on researching heroic epics and Oral Poetics is mainly applied in the heroic epics of the northern minorities, therefore, few scholars use this theory to research the creation epics of the southwestern minorities, and accordingly, few scholars pay attention to the internal structure and form of Munao Zhaiwa, and no scholars have ever used the Oral Formulaic Theory to conduct research on Munao Zhaiwa. This paper will refer to the Oral Formulaic Theory and corresponding method, base on existing literature and combine with field investigation to explore the stylized phenomena and problems of Munao Zhaiwa. This paper takes Munao Zhaiwa collected and combed by Li Xiangqian as research object to reveal the stylized rule of words and phases in Munao Zhaiwa from the aspects of god name, antique, place, direction, figure and behavior, summarizes the characteristics of parallel formula through parallel sentence patterns and art of composition, combines with the Labau Jalwa collected and combed by Xiao Jiacheng to conduct comparative analysis on the singing themes of Munao Zhaiwa in different periods by same singer and expound the stylized theme, explores the influence of the stylization of Munao Zhaiwa on the singer, epic narration and the audiences.Understanding Munao Zhaiwa from the perspective of Oral Formulaic Theory is not only a supplement to the research on the creation epic of the Jingpo but also enriches the theory of “Oral Poetics” to a certain extent. |
