Writing,as one of the four basic skills of language communication,can effectively promote the internalization of language knowledge,cultivate students’ ability to use language,and accurately reflect students’ comprehensive language level.Therefore,writing teaching is an essential part of junior high school English teaching.Its purpose is to train and consolidate students’ practical application of the knowledge they have learned.In the actual teaching activities,due to the problems of improper teaching methods,boring teaching content and students’ weak foundation,it is difficult to improve the writing teaching effect.In order to improve the poor effect of junior high school English writing teaching,this study introduces process approach in English writing into junior high school English writing teaching.On the basis of literature review and theoretical framework,this study focuses on the application of process approach in junior high school English writing teaching,and deals with the following research questions:(1)What is the influence of process approach on students’ writing attitude and revision consciousness?(2)What is the effect of process approach on students’ writing ability?Therefore,during the internship in a junior high school in Xiaojing,Dongming,Heze,the author took the students in class 1 and 4,grade 2 of the junior high school as the research objects,and studied the process approach in junior high school English writing teaching by applying the process teaching method in class 4 of the experimental class and the result teaching method in class 1 of the control class.The first stage of this research is the pre-experiment stage: before the teaching experiment,the author sent out a questionnaire to understand the students’ English writing status,mainly including writing interest and revision awareness.In addition,the author collected the final scores and writing scores of the students in the first semester of junior high school and analyzes their writing ability.The second stage is the experimental stage.The author did a three-month teaching experiment to carry out some relevant research.The third stage is the post test stage.After the teaching experiment,the author collected experimentaldata,compared and analyzed the data of research questions and answered research questions.Then the author put forward some teaching suggestions.The results show that the process approach in English writing can effectively improve students’ interest in English writing and enhance their awareness of composition modification.And the process approach in English writing teaching can improve students’ English writing ability and level.
