The Study Of Musical Texture And Interpretation Of Poulenc’s Piano Suite Napoli FP.40

Francis Poulenc(1899-1963)is a French composer and pianist in the 20 th century,and a member of "Lex Six ".The piano suite "Napoli" FP.40 is the first work of Poulenc in the middle period,and its style gradually tends to Romanticism.Therefore,this paper aims to study the music texture of Napoli and analyze the style characteristics of the works from the perspective of texture.First of all,based on the life of Poulenc and the creation characteristics of his piano music,this paper analyzes the musical structure,tonality,tempo and beat of this work,and then makes an in-depth analysis of the melody layer,harmony layer and bass layer of the texture in the work,and summarizes that it has distinct texture,diverse melody forms,rich accompaniment texture,both fresh and natural in the neoclassical period and lyrical characteristics in the romantic period.In order to play this work,to grasp the characteristics of the texture style,the level of control,articulation,sound and pedal have a better interpretation.
