Study On The Communication And Acceptance Of The Ordinary World

"Ordinary World" is Lu Yao’s only novel,more than one million words condensed the writer’s six years of hard work.From the beginning of the work,the acceptance of "Ordinary World" in the elite readers and the public readers has shown a clear "polarization":on the one hand,the ordinary readers love reading it so much,more than 30 years after the publication of this work,"Ordinary World" still occupies the forefront of the best-selling books for a long time,as the impact of generation after generation of Chinese realistic literary classics worthy of the name;on the other hand,the voice of "academic school" represented by literary critics and literary history writers maintains a certain degree of indifference and neglect to the novel,and until the new century,it begins to present more diversified and rich expositions gradually.This article will start with sorting out the acceptance of "Ordinary World",analyze the reasons for the emergence of "Lu Yao phenomenon",and consider how"Ordinary World" can be longer but newer,and explore the position and influence of this work in Chinese literary life.The text is divided into three chapters according to the chronological order from 1980s,1990s to the new century.It combines the acceptance of the public and academic groups about "Ordinary World" respectively,and tries to explore reasons.The first chapter pays attention to the important role of broadcasting media in the initial stage of promoting the acceptance of works through the rough and difficult process of writing and publishing novels in the 1980s.The second chapter focuses on the acceptance of the "Ordinary World" in the 1990s.On the one hand,the narrative of literary history is deliberately obscured,and the "Mao Dun Literature Award"reflects the high recognition of the official award mechanism.The tide of commodity economy promotes the prosperity of literary production and consumption.The third chapter mainly explores the acceptance of the novel "Ordinary World" and all kinds of derivative works which have been adapted into the new century.Along with the vigorous development of Internet technology,the richness of the works also brings the possibility of re-creation.The production of audio books,new film and TV dramas,drama and related TV programs have triggered the second dissemination of the works to the public.In a word,this paper holds that the literary acceptance of "Ordinary World" has experienced a new situation from avoidance,alienation to reset and multi-dimensional collision,and that the public,whether as readers,viewers or listeners,has maintained their enthusiasm for novels and their adaptations for many years.
