| As a necessary output skill,writing plays an important role in junior English teaching.However,the teaching is usually a one-way activity from the teacher to students in the traditional English writing class,focusing on the writing products while ignoring the writing process.As a language discipline,English has the significant features of practicality and interactivity.With the development of educational theory and practice,the application of the interactive teaching mode in English writing teaching has attracted much attention in recent years.Writing is a communicative activity,emphasizing the interaction between subjects and the interaction between subjects and objects in writing class,which is conducive to change the situation of students’ passive participation in traditional writing teaching and build a platform for students’ collaborative learning.Even though,in the actual teaching,there are still the problems of the lack of depth in interaction and low participation for students in collaborative learning.Therefore,the author applies the interactive teaching mode to English writing through a series of teaching activity setting and preparation before experiment to explore the effect of this mode on junior English writing teaching and learning.The study discusses the effects of the interactive teaching mode on junior high school students’ English writing performance,writing motivation and participation in collaborative learning.The study mainly answers the following questions:(1)Can the interactive teaching mode improve junior high school students’ writing performance?(2)What effect does the interactive teaching mode have on junior high school students’ English writing motivation?(3)What effect does the interactive teaching mode have on junior high school students’ participation in collaborative learning? The author adopted an empirical study by taking two parallel classes in Grade Eight in a middle school in Taiyuan as the research subjects.The experiment lasted for a semester.During the experiment,the students of EC were taught by the interactive teaching mode while the students in CC were taught by product method.The data were collected through tests,questionnaires and interview and analyzed by SPSS(Version 25.0).The research results show that the interactive teaching mode is an effective way in writing teaching.Through the interactive teaching mode,students’ English writing performance is effectively improved.It can improve students’ English writing motivation,and the significant improvement is observed in English intrinsic writing motivation and self-efficacy.It also has a positive impact on enhancing students’ participation in collaborative learning.Additionally,based on the reflections of this study,the researcher draws some implications.First,the effectiveness of the interactive teaching mode on the students’ writing development is confirmed,so teachers should establish the writing environment with multidimensional and effective interaction for students.Secondly,the teacher’s detailed preparation is the key to success or failure of carrying collaborative learning out effectively.Lastly,the leading role of teachers and principal position of students should both be very well undertaken,which can promote the realization of teaching objectives. |
