Study On The Application Of Yimeng Folk Culture In Ceramic Sculpture Creation

Folk culture is an important part of Chinese traditional culture.And artistic creations can draw on the experience of folk culture in different regions.Yimeng area has a long history with a unique regional spirit and culture,such as daily supplies,living habits,festival customs.This paper starts with the application of Yimeng folk culture elements in ceramic sculpture,and makes a detailed introduction of its historical origins,developments and performances.And try to put forward some personal thoughts and experiences during my creation of the ceramic sculpture in order to be creative.Focusing on the local area,the author,starts from personal and national feelings,and takes the daily supplies in the 1980s as the representative,deeply excavating the strong genes behind the national culture,and trying to express the female emotions at that time,especially the profound and meaningful motherly love.All the clothes at that time were all made by women to show the care and love for relatives including the cloth shoes,the tiger head shoes of the babies,the insoles and other clothes.This paper uses a realistic way to show the ecological and historical image of the the ceramic sculpture combing the creative manual and the sewing technical of women in that century to show the female emotional changes.These old daily supplies were used by people living in the 1980s,containing the memories and emotions,which can resonate the audience.Art creation should be rooted in the soil of folk culture.The author chooses Yimeng folk daily supplies,conducts several field researches on the representative folk culture in Yimeng area and collects a large number of field investigation materials in order to serve for creation.At the same time,it’s meaningful to direction of the author’s future creative practice.Based on the current situation,it is feasible and necessary to inherit the local culture of Yimeng area,explore the regionalism and nationality in artistic creation and thus realize the cultural value of artistic creation localization.In recent years,many intangible cultural heritages have been gradually disappearing.The protection and inheritance of traditional cultures is of great significance to the promotion of cultural development and the rejuvenation of the nation.Therefore,the protection and inheritance of traditional cultures is our inescapable responsibility.
