Research On Aesthetic Perception Of Martin Seel

Martin seel is an important German philosopher and aesthetician in the 20 th century.He continued the tradition of German classical philosophy and explored aesthetic issues in the context of theoretical philosophy.Martin Seel proposed that the core concept of aesthetic research should be " Appearaning ".He summarized " Appearaning " as a kind of "aesthetic perception",and combined with his own unique views on aesthetic perception,established "Aesthetics of Appearing".In this new theoretical perspective,Martin Seel answers the controversial issues in the field of aesthetics,such as the object of aesthetic research,the relationship between aesthetics and reality,and the aesthetic interpretation of aesthetic experience.At present,the research on Martin Seel’s aesthetic thought at home and abroad mainly focuses on explaining an aesthetic problem or concept with the help of the thought of " Aesthetics of Appearing ".lacking systematic research on his aesthetic thought.Based on the book " Aesthetics of Appearing ",combined with other books and articles of Martin Seel,this paper combs and analyzes Martin Seel’s aesthetic perception thought,in order to provide ideas for a new aesthetic construction and provide some reference for the discussion of aesthetic perception from this special research.This paper is divided into four partsThe first part investigates the origin of aesthetic perception.First,it briefly combs how the importance of "perceptual knowledge" is discovered,valued and endowed with independent value in the western traditional aesthetic context of "rationality first";The second is the influence of perceptual phenomenology and life aesthetics on Seel.The basic foothold of Seel’s aesthetic perception is the perception closely related to life practice.The second part explains the connotation of aesthetic perception.This paper discusses it from three aspects: first,the premise: conceptual cognition,which is the premise of human basic perception ability,and therefore the premise of aesthetic perception;The second is the essential connotation: the present,the present refers to the presence of the object at this moment.Aesthetic appearance and aesthetic illusion face the present presence of the object,and aesthetic imagination face the present "Absence" of the object;The third is the type of practice: aesthetic perception situation,according to the different types of perception objects,is divided into three dimensions: perception object,life situation and special performance.The third part investigates the characteristics of Seel’s aesthetic perception.Based on the existing research results,this paper analyzes the core characteristics of aesthetic perception:openness and conservatism,as well as the basic characteristics: practicality and theory,in order to achieve the overall grasp of Seel’s aesthetic perception theory.The fourth part analyzes the aesthetic significance of Seel’s aesthetic perception.From the perspective of the development of aesthetic perception,Seel’s aesthetic perception is the development and inheritance of Kant,Merleau Ponty and other aesthetic perception;From the perspective of basic aesthetic problems,Seel puts forward that the object of aesthetic research should be "appearance",which provides a new idea for the study of aesthetic problems;From the perspective of the relationship between man and the world,the significance of Seel’s aesthetic perception is to show that the essence of aesthetic activity is the current encounter between man and the world.
