Research And Teaching Suggestions Of "神X"(Shen X) Catchwords

As the carrier of new things,catchwords dynamically reflects the current social life in languages.The introduction of catchwords into the class of teaching Chinese as a foreign language can not only promote students to understand hot social events,deepen their interpretation of Chinese culture,and enhance their learning interest in Chinese,but also contribute to the Chinese communicative ability of international students in an all-round way.In this context,it is of great significance to select some catchwords with high frequency of use and standard semantics to be taught in the class of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Owing to the high frequency of adoption,long popularity and positive semantics,the catchwords of " 神 X"(shen X)are suitable for being introduced to the class of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Based on the previous related researches,this paper takes "神 X"(shen X)catchwords as the research object,and carries out in-depth analysis on it,which mainly includes the following aspects.First and foremost,this paper tries to distinguish the difference between catchwords and hot words,and further define the scope of "神 X"(shen X)catchwords.Secondly,a detailed analysis of "神"(shen)and "X",the components of "神 X"(shen X)catchwords,is conducted.The analysis of "神"(shen)mainly includes two parts: the original meaning analysis and the semantic evolution analysis of "神"(shen).The analysis of "X" is to classify "X" based on the part of speech,which is divided into three categories,namely,nouns,verbs and adjectives.On this basis,the semantic analysis of "神(shen)+ noun","神(shen)+ verb" and "神(shen)+ adjective" are summarized respectively,and the semantic changes of " 神 X"(shen X)catchwords are expounded accordingly.Thirdly,the pragmatic functions and popular reasons of "神 X"(shen X)catchwords are explored.Last but not least,according to the above analysis and combined with the actual situation of foreign students,this paper gives some examples of " 神 X"(shen X)catchwords in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,so as to provide some reference for "神 X"(shen X)catchwords in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
