The Influence Of David Hackney Composition On My Painting

David Hockney（David,1937 ～）is an outstanding and influential British artist in the aesthetics field nowadays,also he is willing to carry on exploration and new challenges which has close relations with the trend of the times,meanwhile he acts a dabbler in multiple aesthetic fields and constantly tries various art forms along with expression media.But no matter what kind of artistic media he uses,his ultimate target is to return to painting itself for his creation.Under this background,his subjects come from everyday scenes,for example getting along with friends and family,cozy time in the pool and scenery along the road.Besides,he boldy applies subjective colors and words through the simple refinement and combination of geometric forms,so as to fulfill subjective processing of textured elements;The rational design of the layout and arrangement of the picture creates a creative and vigorous effect.The sense of composition and design revealed in the work have revealed his excellent design talent in painting.Moreover,his painting style has a unique style,modern sense and formal beauty of the picture composition have contributed his identifiable and personal characteristics,which covers quite valuable and meaningful research significance.This paper will interpret the artistic expression form in David Hockney’s works from the perspective of painting composition,and try to explore the special painting language in his personal practice.The first chapter is the formation factors of his painting language,which implies the composition factors from the background of the times and the artistic atmosphere of the family.The second chapter mainly discusses the composition of painting elements in the specific form of expression and artistic presentation,then it analyzez the composition from the form,color expression,modeling processing and other aspects.The third chapter studies the thinking and inspiration of the painting composition on contemporary art and aesthetics in combination with self artistic creation,which starting from the three points of creation inspiration,creation practice and creation experience.
