| Liu Yong was a famous calligrapher during the reign of Emperor Qianjia in the Qing Dynasty.His unique style of calligraphy held a place in the history of calligraphy,and he was known as the four masters of the Qing Dynasty together with "Weng,Cheng and Tie".Liu Yong’s line cursive,dot concise,start and close no trace of the pen.The structure is wide,giving people the spirit of the temple.The unique ink method is used to thick the ink and achieve the ultimate contrast between the strokes.As a representative calligrapher in the Qing Dynasty,Liu Yong not only had a profound study of the popular Zhao and Dong at that time,but also caught up with Su Shi and went far to the Jin and Tang dynasties,which showed that his methods of learning books were extensive.This paper summarizes the cursive writing works of Liu Yong,a famous calligrapher in the Qing Dynasty,including the following four parts:The first part discusses the causes of Liu Yong’s cursive writing style from the aspects of Liu Yong’s origin of learning calligraphy,his learning and cultivation,and his disposition.The second part analyzes Liu Yong’s cursive study process from the aspects of his calligraphy concept and the object of copying.The third part analyzes the characteristics of Liu Yong’s cursive calligraphy works.The fourth part summarizes the historical value and contemporary significance of Liu Yong’s cursive writing as well as the inspiration to my personal calligraphy creation. |
