Yiwu River originates from the northern foot of karlik mountain, flows through Weizi gorge and finally flows into naomao lake. The Yiwu River Basin is the border between China and Mongolia in the northeast,Balikun basin in the west, and kallik mountain ridge in the south. The Yiwu River runs through the whole county in a north-south direction. The Yiwu River flows through a variety of landforms, and there are many kinds of remains in the basin.According to the topography and landform, the Yiwu River can be roughly divided into high mountain area, mountain front area, hilly river area and oasis Gobi area. The Yiwu River Basin is an important unit in the northern foot of the East Tianshan Mountain. However, the archaeological work in this basin is relatively small, and the data are mainly cemetery, and there is no study on settlement sites. From 2017 to 2018,the systematic investigation on the prehistoric settlement sites in the Yiwu River Basin was carried out.The author hopes to conduct a preliminary study on the morphological evolution of the prehistoric settlement sites in the Yiwu River Basin and the source of the stone structure remains in the East Tianshan area on the basis of the data obtained in the investigation in 2018.This paper is divided into four chapters. In the first chapter, the introduction defines the space-time scope of this study, the significance and background of the topic selection, and summarizes the previous research on the Yiwu River Basin. The second chapter gives a brief introduction to the prehistoric settlement sites in the Yiwu River Basin.According to its archaeological and cultural characteristics, the settlement sites in the basin are classified and divided into three stages: early, middle and late.In the third chapter,on the basis of the previous chapter, the settlement form and social economic form of each period are analyzed and studied. The fourth chapter discusses the source of the stone structure architecture in the East Tianshan area, and analyzes the development and evolution process of the stone structure building remains in the East Tianshan area. |
