This paper combines the New HSK Level 4 Syllabus and some real exam questions,analyzes HSK Standard Course 4 and the HSK Level 4 examination mainly using a comparative analysis research method from vocabulary,grammar,topic,and practice.The purpose of the research is to discover the advantages and disadvantages of the degree of coordination between the textbook and the HSK Level 4 examination,and to propose suggestions for the improvement of the textbook compilation and the use of the textbook,so that the textbooks can better meet the needs of users for test preparation.The first chapter of this thesis is the introduction,which mainly introduces the reasons for the topic selection,the research objects and methods of the article,and analyzes the researches and deficiencies that have been completed by the predecessors;The second chapter of the article is a comparison between HSK Standard Course 4 and the HSK Level4 syllabus,analyzing the matching degree of the vocabulary,grammar and topics of the textbook with the HSK Level 4 syllabus.We use tables,charts and other forms to present the data visually,and analyze the degree of cooperation between the textbook and the HSK Level 4 syllabus based on the data.The third chapter of the article uses the same method to compare the textbook with the HSK level 4 papers,and analyzes the degree of coordination between the textbook’s vocabulary,grammar,topics,and exercises.After comparison,we found that the textbook has both advantages and some shortcomings in the degree of coordination with the HSK Level 4 examination.For example,the recurrence rate of the vocabulary and grammar items required by the syllabus is low in the textbook;the listening training for the Level 4 exam is lacking.In the last chapter,on the basis of summarizing the textbook,it puts forward suggestions on the composition and use of the textbook,such as adding review units,adding listening exercises,etc.At the same time,suggestions for the use of existing textbooks are put forward,such as combining the HSK Level 4 syllabus and real exam questions to supplement knowledge blind spots,and using text paper for mock exam.The author believes that these improvements will help strengthen the coordination between the textbook and HSK Level 4 examination,and meet the needs of learners for exam preparation.
