Nowadays,due to the impact of the new pneumonia epidemic,traditional education models around the world are being seriously challenged and people are actively trying to teach online,which is both a challenge and an opportunity for teachers of Chinese as a foreign language.This is both a challenge and an opportunity for teachers of Chinese as a second language."Online teaching" breaks the national boundaries between international Chinese teachers and Chinese learners,and provides a more convenient and faster online teaching service for learners of Chinese as a second language.In this paper,we use theories of humanistic learning and distance education to design the teaching process of this lesson with appropriate teaching principles and methods,in order to enhance students’ interest in learning Chinese and improve the quality of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The teaching design of this paper consists of five chapters.The first chapter is the introductory part,which mainly includes the background of the study,the significance of the selected topic,the current situation of domestic and international research,research objectives,content and methods.The second chapter introduces the theoretical basis and teaching principles of online teaching design,involving three kinds of humanistic learning theory,communication theory,and distance education theory,as well as the teaching principles of teacher-led,student-centered,intensive teaching and practice,and combining language and culture.Chapter 3 is the basis and specific contents of the online teaching design of the elementary Chinese comprehensive course "A Letter",mainly the analysis of the pre-preparation of the teaching design,including the analysis of the teaching environment,Chinese teaching materials and teaching objects.Chapter 4 is the specific content part of the online teaching design of "A Letter" for Elementary Chinese Integrated Course,which mainly introduces two aspects of preparation and process of teaching design.Chapter 5 is the evaluation and reflection of the online instructional design.It summarizes and evaluates the teacher’s teaching,the learners’ learning,and the problems that need to be faced by online teaching respectively.
