Research On The Disease Writing In Lu You’s Poetry

Disease has been an important object of literary writing since the pre-Qin period.As the most outstanding poet in the poetry circle of the Southern Song Dynasty,among his more than9,000 extant poems,1,203 are about diseases,accounting for about 13 percent of his extant poems.For lu you’s poetry writing disease have been few people focus on this problem,this article is based on the study of lu you disease of poetry writing,lu you’s disease and self treatment,analysis of relationship between disease and lu you’s poems,tries to reveal the psychological course of lu you in the face of disease and death and the emotion attitude,experience in surveying the state of lu you in their life and the strong sense of time and life consciousness.At the same time,the academic community lacks the implementation of Lu You’s disease in modern medicine,which is an important issue for an objective and comprehensive understanding of Lu You.Therefore,I hope this paper can make up for some shortcomings in previous studies.This paper will be divided into four chapters to discuss the disease writing in Lu You’s poems.The first chapter analyzes Lu You’s physical condition and the ways of self-treatment.First of all,the main diseases Lu You suffered from were investigated,and the diseases were put into the modern medical conditions.Then through analyzing Lu You’s thought and practice of keeping in good health and studying medicine to investigate his ways of self-treatment of diseases.The second chapter analyzes the diseases and pains contained in Lu You’s poems.Firstly,the author investigates the general situation of Lu You’s poetry writing about disease.The physical diseases of Lu You in the three periods before he entered Shu,after he entered Shu and after he retired to Shanyin were analyzed,and the characteristics and reasons of writing poems about diseases in each period were analyzed.Secondly,it explores the way of writing disease in Lu You’s poems and the emotional connotation contained in the poetry of disease,and grasps the expression of disease in Lu You’s poems as a whole.In the end,we investigate the time consciousness and life consciousness reflected in Lu You’s poetry about disease,and feel Lu You’s open-minded attitude towards disease and life and death.The third chapter discusses the relationship between disease and Lu You’s poetry creation.Firstly,the influence of disease on the quantity,subject matter and style of Lu You’s poetry creation is analyzed.Secondly,it analyzes the reverse therapeutic function of poetry creation to Lu You’s disease.The interaction between disease and poetry creation is closely related.The fourth chapter analyzes the pain and acceptance of disease in Lu You’s poems.First of all,it analyzes the pain of the disease,that is,the inconvenience brought by the disease to Lu You’s life,which is mainly manifested in the conflict and collision between the disease,drinking and traveling.Secondly,it analyzes the acceptance of disease,that is,Lu You’s reconciliation with disease under the influence of Buddhism and Taoism.The ideal of Confucian achievement and career and Confucian personality are the root cause of Lu You’s illness and many diseases in his poems.However,Lu You also found spiritual comfort from Taoism and Buddhism thoughts,and finally realized the reconciliation and coexistence with the disease.
