Research On Development Of Jiexiu Kiln Ceramic Decoration In The Song And Jing Dynasties

Jiexiu kiln,as one of the best relatively well-known kilns in Shanxi Province,was innovated from its local culture,referring and imitating other kilns during its development process.It was deeply influenced by politics,economy,culture and many other factors especially effected by Song and Jin dynasties.During the period from the Northern Song Dynasty to the Jin Dynasty,it gradually matured and reached the peak.In the Song and Jin period when the porcelain industry was flourishing,the simple and unrestrained style of Jiexiu kiln had a wide-ranging and far-reaching influence,and it was an indispensable and important part of the northern ceramic system.This article focuses on the social,economic,political,military,and cultural impacts on the development of Jiexiu kiln ceramics.Through a large amount of literature and physical analysis,the article clarifies the close relationship between Jiexiu kiln and the social life at the time.The main innovation of this article is to conduct a detailed comparative study of the kiln utensils with Ding kiln,Cizhou kiln and other kilns in the Shanxi province.Besides,the article analyzes the interaction between them and other well-known kiln mouths,and explorres other kiln yards impacts for Jiexiu kiln.Jiexiu kiln ceramics through learning from all aspects,combining with its own reality creates brilliant results and leaves the valuable material and spiritual wealth for future generations.
