A Study On The Construction Of National Identity By Translated Film Productions In Ethnic Languages

As a multi-ethnic country,China’s high recognition of the Chinese national community is of great significance to China’s political,economic,cultural and other social development and national unity.Most ethnic minorities in China live in remote areas and border areas.Under the influence of special and complex internal and external incentives in these areas,the change of ethnic identity consciousness and national identity consciousness will affect their behavior patterns and organizational activities.In this situation,How to strengthen the sense of national identity,cohesion and the sense of community of the Chinese nation has become a major issue in China,especially in the minority areas..From the historical and realistic point of view,the mass media plays an important role in shaping the social members’ identity consciousness to the mainstream social culture and values,as well as the ethnic consciousness,citizenship consciousness and national consciousness of the social members.As a special member of mass media,film is a window for audiences in China’s border areas and ethnic minority areas to understand the outside world,and has always played an important role in cultivating national identity consciousness of various ethnic groups.In the process of transmission,the language affected the communication effect of Chinese film and television play in minority areas,some of the ethnic minority in our country,border areas,local people are mostly rely on their native language to communicate the information in the daily life activities,understanding of Chinese language and application ability is weak,the ethnic language dubbing is the ideal way to solve this problem.As a carrier of spreading culture,the translated films in minority languages can stimulate the collective memory in the blood of different ethnic groups and complete the emphasis on the Chinese national community.Translated films in minority languages play an irreplaceable role in transmitting the mainstream ideology and constructing national identity.This paper attempts to make a further study of the relationship between the translation of ethnic minority languages,the translation of ethnic minority languages,the practice of projection and film viewing and the construction of national identity by investigating the transmission of Lisu translated films in Nujiang ethnic minority areas.
