| The Five Stations of Solon, has been written as Solon Five Stations in Manchurian, located in the general of Heilongjiang from 1686 to 1691.The Solon,Daur people had been chosen to that five stations. As the response to the Russian force infiltration activities in the Heilongjiang area since the middle of the 17 th century, the Qing government set up the Heilongjiang general in 1683,governing the military and political affairs in the Heilongjiang area. The Solon and Daur people who originally lived in this area, also began to move to the South Nenjiang River area at the same time. The Qing government had a solicitation policy for the Solon and Daur people who moved to the southern area, and put them into Niru organization. For the goods support problem in the Yaksa confrontation, the Qing government decided to build a post station line from Girin Ula City to Sahaliyan Ula City.During this period, under three surveys and mapping, and considering the population’s highdensity area. The plan was finally chosen from south to north along the Nenjiang River and through the mountains, finally to Sahaliyan Ula City.In consideration of efficiency and living environment, the Qing government decided that the five most northern post stations should be filled by local Solon and Daur people, and lay more emphasis on post road management and material distribution. As the post road undertook the mission of goods supply of the front line, the works of Solon and Daur were very heavy. These people were not good as Manchu language, also not good as goods management,it is difficult to make high efficiency. In addition, because the Solon Five Stations were located in a mountainous area, the climate and topography were not fit for agricultural production, and there are many natural disasters. The level of agricultural technology in Solon and Daur stations was also falling behind, thus triggering very serious livelihood problems during that time.To solve this problem, except distributing the food, the Qing government dispatched the administrative officer from the southern station to the north to guide and supervise the farming, and rejected applications to continue to expand the stations. In 1690,the Qing government planned to move the Heilongjiang general’s office to Mergen City, and at the same time, was preparing to build a new Qiqihar City at the Solon Uheri Da governing area. These measures created a need to expand garrisons.Since 1691,the Qing government gradually withdrew Solon and Daur people from the stations, and the original five stations were changed to the Han nation. The evacuation station was distributed with new supplies and became a garrison under the command of General Heilongjiang. The establishment of the Heilongjiang post station improved the traffic between Girin-Mergen-Sahaliyan Ula,directly affecting the location of the subsequent new garrison City.Although the improvement of farming techniques in Solon and Daur stations was limited, they still exerted a significant impact in other fields. |
