Research On The Creative Features And Interpretation Of The “Cadenza” Of The 20th Century Saxophone Concerto

First of all,through a series of literature collection and research at home and abroad,I understand that in the saxophone concerto “Cadenza”research area is blank.Due to the late saxophone,the works are also relatively few in number,genre,and variety compared to other western orchestral instruments.Therefore,this paper carefully selected four of the 20 th century saxophone concerto classic works as the object of in-depth study.Secondly,I explore the four works of the composer and creative background,creative general characteristics.And through a detailed analysis of the form of these four works and the “Cadenza”,including the study of structural elements(theme and development form,musical form structure),the study of time elements(rhythm,rhythm,speed),the study of pitch elements(mode,tonality,melody,texture,harmony,sound color),etc.,in-depth elaboration of the four works and its “Cadenza”creative techniques and characteristics,the evolution of the style,as well as deductive aspects of the common and individual.In the end,by summing up and summarizing the theoretical results of the previous research,I can have a good understanding and grasp of the four works,and finally have a deeper understanding of the “Cadenza”of the 20 th saxophone concerto,in order to better interpret the work.At the same time,I also hope that my research will be of greater help to future learners.
