| The leading force of social development is technology,and the mainstream of contemporary culture is technology culture.However,today’s era is an era of constantly changing and accelerating development of technology.New technologies are becoming more and more diversified,and the power of technology is becoming more and more inestimable,which has brought great uncertainty to social development.Therefore,technology has become the main source of many problems.In modern society,many problems faced by nature,society and people are inseparable from the alienation of technology.The phenomenon of technology alienation has attracted more and more scholars’ attention and research.Therefore,how to face up to the alienation of technology,so that technology can better benefit mankind,has become a common problem we are facing.This paper attempts to get some valuable ideas from studying Marx’s thought of technological alienation,in order to provide enlightenment for todays alleviation of the problems caused by technological alienation.In the second half of the 19 th century,the phenomenon of technology alienation was not as serious as today,but Marx began to realize some problems caused by technology alienation.Although there is no special discussion on technology alienation in his works,his theoretical system contains the idea of technology alienation.Therefore,it is necessary to reread the text and study his idea of technology alienation in depth.This paper is divided into three parts.In the first part,before discussing the issue of technology alienation,we first clarify the basic concepts of alienation and technology alienation.After that,we sort out the era of Marx and the influence of predecessors on Marx’s thought of technology alienation.Under the special background of social science and technology at that time,Marx abandoned the concept of alienation in German classical philosophy and began to study technological alienation on the basis of alienated labor.In the second part,this paper mainly expounds the basic content of Marx’s thought of technological alienation from three aspects.First of all,this paper analyzes the causes of technological alienation from the perspective of Marx.Marx believes that in capitalist society,the fixed private ownership and social division of labor,as well as the limitation of human understanding of technology cause the alienation of technology.Secondly,from the alienation of industrial technology,the alienation of division of labor technology and the alienation of capital domination and exploitation of technology,this paper makes an explanation of the specific forms of technological alienation from the perspective of Marx.Finally,it studies the consequences of technological alienation from the perspective of Marx,and explains it from the impact of technological alienation on society,nature and human beings,as well as the expansion of instrumental rationality and the lack of value rationality.The third part aims to explain the exploration of the path of technology alienation from four aspects: the value of technology,the progress of technology,the humanization of technology and the realization of communism.Marx pointed out that although technological alienation has brought bad effects,we can not blindly deny technological alienation,but need to overcome it in the process of technological development and progress.In addition,the fundamental way to eliminate technological alienation lies in the disappearance of capitalist system and the realization of communism.The analysis of Marx’s thought of technology alienation is of great theoretical significance to the study of the problems brought about by today’s social technology alienation. |
